Have you ever received a Social Security Statement in the mail? You know, the one that shows all the earnings you’ve had each year and how much you could receive per month in Social Security benefits when you retire? The Statement contains crucial information workers need to plan for a comfortable retirement. Now, thanks to my Social Security, this information—and so much more— is only a few minutes away!
Your personal my Social Security account is secure and gives you ready access to your earnings records, Social Security benefit estimates, and printable Statements. Those who already receive benefits can view their payment history, current status, and manage their benefits.
To open a personal my Social Security account, go to our website and select “Create an Account” to get started. You must be 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number, U.S. mailing address (or a military address if deployed overseas), and an email address.

I usually receive an adjustment to my social security benefits based on my prior,year net self employment income. To date I have received no such adjustment which usually comes in on October retroactive to Jan 1. Self employment income of approx $40,000 and self employment tax paid in of $5784. What happened to that adjustment in my annual benefit? Thanks R.Abrahams

I was trying to get into “my account” and used an incorrect password. Unfortunately, after 3 attempts, it locked me out. How can I restore my online information again? I tried creating a new account, but it tells me there is an account already created. 🙁

Date of Birth Payment Day:
1st through 10th Second Wednesday
11th through 20th Third Wednesday
21st through 31st Fourth Wednesday

I’m on ssi disability, since jan 2020 how do i get my verification letter as my permanent source of income. Some of my Utility companies request proof of my monthly income. i will be qualified to be placed on there Low Income Energy Program’s.. I receive SS CHECK and my medicare premiums are deducted. On the Mysocialsecurity site, I am able to view my ss check amounts by month,with the option of seeing the last month paid in detail showing my Medicare premium deducted for that month on a pull-down window. It does not offer me the option to see the details of any of the previous months, just the total payment. I need to prove to my Retirement Spending Acct from my previous employer those pyts were deducted from my SS check,then they will reimburse me for the Medicare premiums.

The Supplemental Security Income (SSI) program is a needs-based program that pays benefits to disabled adults and children who have limited income and resources. SSI benefits also are payable to people 65 and older without disabilities, who meet the financial limits. Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits, on the other hand, are based on earnings and are not subject to income and resource limits.
