I love that the IRS and the SSA just like to pass the buck to one another while that most of us on some form of social security have not been able to receive there eip check because all that we get from ethier the IRS or the SSA is that you are both working closely and to check or call a web site or a automated system that doesn’t help and is just more frustrating than you guys seem to know you will seem to respond by call the IRS but they won’t help ethier believe me I have tried.

I submitted a simple tax return electronically the 1st week of March and have still not gotten my refund. It’s been three months. I had a professional prepare my tax return and my bank account information was included. I feel that because of the pandemic, the IRS has failed in its duty to process my tax return in a timely manner. I know the IRS is very busy, but people’s tax returns should come first. I have checked the website for status every day for weeks on end and called to no avail. It just says that it’s “In process”. You cannot even get ahold of a person to speak to. This isn’t right. It was a small, very simple, straight forward tax return and I need MY money.
