The IRS will issue the EIPs via direct deposit and Direct Express starting today, May 22, to the same direct deposit account or Direct Express card as the recipient’s monthly Social Security or SSI payment. Paper check EIPs will be mailed starting May 27.

I was told by the IRS that I don’t qualify for a stimulus check even though I have been getting SSI for over 10 years AND direct deposit. I wish I could sue the government for this.

My son carried me on his taxes and child support took his taxes and I didn’t receive any money from his taxes and they took his stemulis check, is there any chance of me getting my stemulis check, because child support took his money, I’m on SSA and that money was supposed to help me pay my bills like Rent and co pays for doctor visits!! Can you help.?

    • A

Unfortunately your son claimed you as a dependent on his taxes. You are not eligible for a stimulus payment.
