    Not sure why those on a fixed income, which was Not interrupted due to the issues, are receiving “e c o n o m i c i m p a c t” payments.
    Their economic impact was Zero.
Small business owners who were Forced to Close, those laid off because employers couldn’t operate should have been the only ones in line in my view.
    Please explain.

But those people get unemployed insurance eta all kinds benefits and aids and we only depend on these few hundreds fixed income and all the costs is different now why you are so cold?

The price of everything has gone up, and most people living on benefits live on less than $1,000 a month. Try that, then bitch about it!

Why are you even on this blog? Obviously you are drawing some type of SS benefits, or you have nothing better to do accept stick your nose where it doesn’t belong!! You must lead a very sad and unhappy life?

I am 56 years old and on SSI, no payee, get my payment doesn’t work on the IRS website, the phone number doesn’t help, just automated.. I thought all SSI recipients was supposed to get their EIC in May. Everyone I know has received theirs. I need my money like everyone else . I have Direct Express, so no excuses

  9. Mack B.

I began receiving social security in Feb. Yet I have not received a direct deposit of stimulus payment yet. Many around me in the same situation have received theirs. Is there a method used for disbursement of payment. If so how is it determined…

If you filed taxes in 2018 or 2019, they will use that. If not, then since you started receiving benefits after the start of this year, you need to use the non filer tool on the IRS website. The tool is available until October 15 for people to add their information.
If that doesn’t help you, try 1-800-829-0582 ext. 652

IRS did not check with Social Decurity to get my bank account information for the impact payment and, instead, mailed a letter to my POB saying, “Your Economic Impact Payment Has Arrived.”
When I looked further, the envelope for Notice #1444 (EN-SP) was empty.
    Where is the check?

    • Vonda V.

Hi Sybil, thanks for using our blog. It is Treasury, not Social Security, that is making the automatic Economic Income Payments to eligible people. Please visit the IRS Economic Impact Payments Information Center for all your Economic Income Payment-related questions. If you are unable to find the answer, call the IRS hotline at 1-800-919-9835. Thanks!

The checks don’t come in that envelope. Read the letter, it tells how you received it.
