Hi Rosa, thank you for your question. Medicare will automatically mail your new card to the address you have on file with Social Security. As long as your address is up to date, there’s nothing you need to do. If you need to update your address, you can use your personal my Social Security account.
Mailing millions of Medicare cards takes some time, so you might get your card at a different time than friends or neighbors in your area.
Visit Medicare.gov/NewCard and sign up to get email alerts from Medicare. Medicare will send you an email when cards start mailing in your state. Thanks!

My husband and I have not yet received our new Medicare cards. It is possible you do not have our current address. We moved in May of 2017.

How can I change the bank in which y monthly social security check is deposited? Is there a form I need to fill out, a portal site that I need to go to, or a phone number that I should call?
V.V.
Hi Becky. Thanks for the question. If you’re receiving Social Security benefits (retirement, survivors, or disability), you can start or update your direct deposit information by using your personal my Social Security account.
If receiving Supplemental Security Income (SSI) or unable to conduct business online, you can start or update your direct deposit by contacting the bank, credit union, or savings and loan association or by calling Social Security at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778).
See our Frequently Asked Questions web page for more information.

Hello Rudolf. Unfortunately, and because of security reasons we do not have access to personal records in this blog and cannot update your direct deposit information. If you live outside the United States, in a country where we can send payments, you can use direct deposit to a U.S. financial institution or a financial institution in any country that has an international direct deposit agreement.
We recommend that individuals living outside the United States contact their nearest Federal Benefits Unit for assistance with their Social Security benefits. Also, our Office of International Operations home page provides more information to assist our customers living abroad.
Just a reminder – Please be cautious about posting personal information on social media and communicating personal information via email. Thanks!
