I need a new social security card

Hello Frances. If you get Social Security benefits (retirement, survivors, or disability) or are enrolled in Medicare, you can change your address online by using a my Social Security account.
After you update your address on your record, please visit our “Social Security Number and Card” web page, to see if you’re eligible to apply for a replacement Social Security card online or to learn more on the process and what documents you will need to get a card. We hope this information helps!

My wife and my Medicare cards were returned marked undeliverable. The address was misspelled. Address should be Parkway, but reads North Ft Myers, Fl. 33903. Pkwy works also. Could you correct please and have Medicare resend them. Thank you.. William and Linda Batty.

Did not receive new card
R.F.
Hello Kenneth. Medicare will automatically mail your new card to the address you have on file with Social Security. As long as your address is up to date, there’s nothing you need to do. Mailing millions of Medicare cards takes some time, so you might get your card at a different time than friends or neighbors in your area.
Visit Medicare.gov/NewCard and sign up to get email alerts from Medicare. Medicare will send you an email when cards start mailing in your state. Thanks!

Can I send my requested documents via email to you, if so where. A Mr McCall with the camp springs office left a message on my phone requesting documents. He didn’t leave his number just the open line and the wait is over an hour told time. Can I email the documents needed?
R.F.
Hello LaTonia, please allow some more time for our employee to contact you again. We do not have access to personal information, therefore, we do not do direct messaging in this venue.
We have referred your inquiry to our Operations staff for follow up.
Please be cautious about posting personal information on social media and communicating personal information via email. Thank you for bringing this to our attention.
ANTONIO C.
I’ve not received my new Medicare Card because it was sent to an old address. When I tried to change my address online I was blocked electronically. When I called Medicare they told me to change my address thru Social Security and then call them back. I’m starting to feel I’m in a carousel that won’t stop.. my old addresses were 1004 Courtyard West Newport 28557, and 1922 Cedar Creek Road, Fayeteville NC 28323. My current address is 410 Taipei Court Apt 83B, Fayeteville NC 28303. My latest phone number is 910-920-7779. Can you please help me so I can get my new Social Security number??
R.F.
We are sorry for the inconvenience, Antonio. If you are unable to create an account or encounter a problem with your my Social Security account, you may:
•Call us at 1-800-772-1213 (TTY 1-800-325-0778), Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. At the voice prompt, say “helpdesk”; or
•Contact your local Social Security office.
If unable to change your address online, you will need to contact us. When calling our toll free number (1-800-772-1213), you will experience a shorter wait time if you call later during the day or later in the week. Thanks!

have not recieved my new card
Erin T.
Hello, My mother recently passed away and I was curious if there is anything I need to report to Social Security.
Thanks
R.F.
We are sorry for your loss, Erin. Usually, the funeral director notifies us of an individual’s passing by contacting their local Social Security office. However, you may -also- report the death of your mom or verify the information was reported by calling 1-800-772-1213, Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. to 7 p.m.
To be eligible for a Social Security benefit payment, a person has to live throughout the entire month. If the deceased was receiving Social Security benefits, you must return the benefit received for the month of death or any later months. Keep in mind that Social Security benefits are paid the month after they are due. For example, if the person dies in October, you must return the benefit paid in November. Thank you.
Christine T.
The phone number to call for ss card replacement is too many digets!
Please advise !!!!
