I have a pending application for Part A Medicare fully due to me. It is confirmed received at Chicago. It is precisely clear.So today12/14 /2020 I get a letter “A transaction was recently attempted with your name…” demanding a response within ten days of the letter, i.e. tomorrow! or it will be cancelled. Scary. Bullshit , harsh phrasing. I need this before end of month.

I am trying to get a replacement card for my son who is under the age of 18. I understand the local SSA office is closed. I faxed a copy of the application to the number provided, but how can I verify it was received. There does not seem to be a way to track this. How long will this process take? To follow up on your son’s case, call the office where you mailed the application. The documents you submitted must be originals or copies certified by the issuing agency.
