I have created my social security account but there is no option for signing up for social security benefits on the page anywhere. I tried originally to start a claim and they gave me a number, but it doesn’t work and I’m told my info doesn’t match so call. Guess What? I call and I get sent back to the my social security page. This system is broken.

I have tried for days to sign into my account to no avail. I entered my information correctly but when I go to the next page and asks me security questions (derived from my credit reports) I am told they are incorrect. Three banks in a row (as well as dates) have nothing whatsoever to do with me. Now I am locked out again after 3 days of trying. Something is not right and it’s not me. It was such a concern that I ordered my 3 credit reports. There is nothing there either that coincides with the questions asked of me. At this point it appears they will not be changing the questions and therefore I won’t be able to sign in. Backing up a bit I did try entering the re-entry number and it says it’s not in the system. What in the world is going on? I do have cookies on if that would be an issue. Calling puts me on hold for 2 hours. I need help with this.
