    I deactivated my oringinal my social security account. I created a new account with the one time password. It didn’t work. What do I do now? I keep calling for help but no one will help me. Please respond so I don’t have to wait on the phone for hours. Even when I do get through no one helps me with my situation. I don’t have the time to set up an appointment to go to my local ssa office. They have a 1 month waiting list.

    I am a US Citizen and live outside the USA. I cannot create the My SocialSecurity account online as it requires me to provide a US address and a US phone. How can this be done if one lives outside the USA?

    I am trying to create myssa account. I repeatedly, endlessly, continue to get the message that my username is already in use. It does not make any difference how unique a username that I try to use, I continue to get this message. I got it two days ago when I tried for hours, and I get it today as I try. When I spoke with someone at SSA two days ago, they said wait a few days and try again. I have. It seems like if this is a problem that others are having (as it seems from my google search) there should be a message on the website about it, at least. Better yet, fix the problem? And no, I am not using my name or my social security number as part of my username.
