I have received (twice) a computer generated phone call that threatened my SSA benefits because ” my ssa number had been misused”. I was supposed to select option 1 to clear up the problem. It was obviously SPAM, I tried to report it to the phone number in your post, but somehow “I received a Threatening phone call” was translated to I was reporting someone fraudulently receiving benefits even when I said that was not what I was doing. Therefore 1) I am reporting an abusive phone call and 2) what’s up with your report line.
