As we celebrate Data Privacy Week, we are sharing our top five privacy resources:

I have been applying for benefits since 2012! I have no income, no resources, and I have lost my job, my home, my car and my marriage due to my mental illness! I worked and paid my dues since 1993! My children support me! It’s a shame how many times I have been denied and to see other people who have not contribute to the system getting benefits every month, it’s not fair

Hi, Velicia. We are sorry to hear about your situation. You may be eligible to receive social services from the state in which you live. These services include free meals, housekeeping help, transportation, or help with other problems. To get information about services in your area and find out if you qualify, you will need to contact your state or local social services or welfare office. We hope this helps.

Is social Security having Banking issues ? My husband MSA patient had to change direct deposit because of banking with old bank changed to sutton bank we have not recieved direct deposit yet since changed feb 12 th social sec acct has deposit on feb 16th never showed in acct yet and he needs his meds and money.

Raymond Rosenbaum well since covid has started I live in Oregon and the town where I live has had a fire witch in fact has burned a huge part of the valley to witch my home and everything I owned was burnt to nothing Inc. My sscard. I wasnot in town at the time but I came back to nothing you people that work at this closed office that get payed anyway I on the other hand have not Ben able to replace my sscard.for some reason I’ve gone to hrs. On the phone 2ith some don’t wanna do there job person well I would not be doing this if you and the unemployment office for some reason have done nothing but make my situation a freaking nightmare I’ve. Allready lost everything in this fire buti have not received any of my pua.employment I’ve filed 74 weeks being homeless can’t work because of covid.19.shutdown 1is I’ve lived at my address for 22 years b4 the fire and was forced to live as homeless with no help from no body except friends whose payed my way and helped but the hardship you people and unemployment have caused I cannot say how letdown and dissapointed in your way of handeling my situation I wish for all of you people at ss.and unemp.offices to receive as much of the the heartbreak and financial disaster that this has done to me then you will feel the true meaning of havoc.as of now the only 2 items that are not received is my sscard.and all of my pua.unemployment.and go figure I’ve explained my situation and cannot lose anything else its already gone if needed you should do just a second of your most valued time in your day to see if what I’m telling you has any merit.and truth to it and should I say more no thank you for your time and consideration in this matter ..sen.Raymond Rosenbaum 14 @ gmail.com

But there are several things you should do. You should report the identity theft to the Federal Trade Commission. That website is a one-stop national resource to learn about the crime of identity theft. It provides detailed information to help you deter, detect, and defend against identity theft. You should also monitor your credit report periodically. You can get free credit reports online at http://www.annualcreditreport.com. Illegal use of someone else’s social security number and/or other government, state, Federal, tax, personal, financial, banking, educational, residential, mailing, drivers license, insurance, & many other types of identifying information IS SEVERELY ILLEGAL & THE CRIMINALS DOING IT MUST BE PROSECUTED & THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION STAFF SHOULD ALSO BE PROSECUTED IF THEY DECREASE, DELAY, AND/OR WITHHOLD OUR DISABILITY (INCLUDING SSI) FUNDS DUE TO THE ILLEGAL SEVERE CRIMINAL COMPLEX IDENTITY THEFT COMMITTED AGAINST INNOCENT DISABLED CITIZENS, & ESPECIALLY THE CURRENT SEVERE CRIMINAL COMPLEX IDENTITY THEFT REPEATEDLY HAPPENING BETWEEN THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION (SSA), THE EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT(EDD), THE DEPARTMENT OF SOCIAL SERVICES STAFF (DPSS), & THE WORKERS COMPENSATION STAFF.
Several of us who have had careers & have worked hard & paid our taxes & have no association with drugs, nor association with drugs such as the different forms of Cannabis nor it’s activities, nor have association with criminal behavior nor criminal activity are being deemed disabled by our medical staff. Our medical staff including Specialists & Doctors are advising us to take time off from work, are filling out & signing the required forms that deem us as disabled & advising us to apply for our earned & paid disability funds to resolve our ailments. In applying, we as deemed disabled, are being denied illegally & repeatedly by inexperienced Social Security Administration staff & some are being denied until the point of death.
Inexperienced staff are also illegally referring people to DPSS offices where more illegally inexperienced staff are causing extreme hardship for innocent disabled citizens by illegally not providing the correct amount of funds to live on. Once the disability funds are approved, DPSS then illegally claims a large amount of the disability back pay.
Once the disabled citizen drops all communication with DPSS including all DPSS funds & food allowances, as advised by the SSA staff, DPSS staff illegally & repeatedly still tries to contact the disabled citizen to apply for DPSS funds & food allowances through their SNAP, EBT, & all other insufficient programs. Disabled citizens refuse to use any DPSS benefits because they have already taken a large chunk of the Disability Funds already owed to the disabled citizen.
Now, there are agency staff & criminals who are also illegally stealing & using the bits & pieces of innocent disabled citizens to falsely accuse innocent disabled citizens of receiving Unemplyment Benefit Claim Funds, Workers Compensation Claim Funds, DPSS Benefits, & also illegally & falsely accuse innocent disabled citizens of being overpaid in receiving their disability (& SSI) funds. All of this is happening while inexperienced Social Workers, Eligibility Workers, Case Managers & severely inexperienced Housing Case Managers who do not know how to successfully use a Housing Authority Voucher are prolonging the hardship of the disabled citizens & CAUSING UNNECESSARY HOMELESSNESS, & sometimes until the death of the disabled citizen. They are also reporting extremely negative & false illegal information to the Social Security Administration staff illegally causing deceases in funds to the innocent disabled citizens, & especially to innocent disabled citizens who are trying to live independently.
Innocent disabled citizens are repeatedly receiving calls from unrecognized phone numbers where the person on the line is claiming to be a Social Security Administration staff member & where that staff member is illegally stating severely fraudulent information such as claiming that the innocent disabled citizen has informed them of a different residential address out of the law enforcement jurisdiction than where the innocent disabled citizen actually resides. The supposed Social Security Administration staff person is also indicating that they are working remotely & is asking for the Social Security Number & other identifying information. Then multiple Social Security Administration offices also start mailing repetitive documents with more illegally fraudulent information along with illegally repetitive request for innocent disabled citizens to provide Unemployment Compensation Payment Records & Workers Compensation Award Letters, of which innocent disabled citizens who are not working & have not filed claims in over 10+ years (DUE TO BEING REPEATEDLY DENIED) & are not receiving such funds DO NOT HAVE.
IF RECEIVING SUCH CALLS ASK FOR THE MANAGER & SUPERVISOR OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION OFFICE OF THE SUPPOSED SOCIAL SECURITY STAFF PERSON & THEIR EXTENSION & HANG UP.
CALL BACK THE SUPERVISOR & MANAGER OF THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION OFFICE & LEAVE A VOICEMAIL MESSAGE IF THEY DO NOT ANSWER.
THEN CALL & REPORT THESE CRIMES TO THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL IMMEDIATELY.
THE INFORMATION PERTAINING TO OUR SOCIAL SECURITY NUMBERS, THE SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION, EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT, INTERNAL REVENUE SERVICE (IRS), FRANCHISE TAX BOARD (FTB), (also known as the Employment Income Verification & Earnings Summary) is suppose to match with our employment & Earnings activity. The SSA Office staff is also illegally refusing to include the current years of 2019 – 2021 in the Employment Income Verification & Earnings Summary knowing that they have had incidents of severe criminal complex Identity Theft between the SSA office & EDD office computer systems & our data & are illegally blaming, harrassing, & denying a Report to innocent disabled citizens who have not worked during 2019 – 2021.
The SSA staff is also trying to charge a fee to innocent disabled citizens who are being victimized by the severe criminal complex Identity Theft between the SSA & EDD & who have worked as Contractors & are requesting the detailed Employment Income Verification & Earnings Summary from employment inception until the present.
IF THERE ARE ANY DISCREPANCIES BETWEEN THIS DATA & ILLEGALLY FRAUDULENT ACCUSATIONS CONTINUE, CONTINUE TO FILE FRAUD REPORTS NOT ONLY WITH THE FEDERAL TRADE COMMISSION (FTC), SSA, & EDD, BUT ALSO WITH THE OFFICE OF THE INSPECTOR GENERAL (OIG) & OTHER HIGH RANKING LAW ENFORCEMENT.
SEVERAL OF THESE SEVERE CRIMINAL COMPLEX IDENTITY THEFT CRIMES ARE HAPPENING ACROSS THE UNITED STATES & ESPECIALLY HERE IN THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA BETWEEN THE INGLEWOOD, CA & WEST LOS ANGELES, CA SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION OFFICES & STAFF.
I HAVE HAD TO & AM REPEATEDLY FILING MULTIPLE REPORTS EVERYTIME I RECEIVE AN ILLEGALLY FRAUDULENT REQUEST FROM SOCIAL SECURITY ADMINISTRATION STAFF WHERE THEY ARE ILLEGALLY HARASSING ME, AN INNOCENT PROVEN DISABLED CITIZEN, ABOUT SOME ILLEGAL ALERTS ON THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM FROM CRIMINALS & STAFF & THE EMPLOYMENT DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT STAFF WHO HAVE CORRUPTED THEIR COMPUTER SYSTEM WITH SEVERELY ILLEGAL & FRAUDULENT INFORMATION.
I HAVE NOTIFIED THE SSA, EDD, DPSS, IRS, FTB, FTC, OIG & ALL OTHER AGENCY STAFF REPEATEDLY THAT I HAVE NO ASSOCIATION WITH & REFUSE TO BE IMPLICATED BY THEIR CRIMINAL STAFF & THE CRIMINALS DOING THESE SEVERE CRIMINAL COMPLEX IDENTITY THEFT CRIMES.
I ALSO VIEW THE UNITED STATES ATTORNEY WEBSITE & OTHER HIGH RANKING LAW ENFORCEMENT WEBSITES TO KEEP TRACK OF THOSE CRIMINALS INDICTED, & ESPECIALLY AGENCY STAFF, FOR THE SEVERVE CRIMES WITHIN & ASSOCIATED WITH THESE AGENCIES.

Can I get some information about cancer. How to get help with medical bills. My brother has cancer and doesn’t receive any disability or any type of help. He’s self employed and has insurance but the deductible is very high and he doesn’t feel like doing anything. He applied for disability but got denied because he has too many assets. McAfee antivirus software says there was one instance where my SS# info is on the dark web?
They wrote that I need to report a stolen SS# to you. Is this valid? Dark web? I have no clue, please advise and saw no place online to make a report like this and I question the validity yet would like to make sure to maintain SS integrity and prevent unlawful use. Please advise.

Had SSA review recently. Told next review 8 years. Seeking letter, email verifying actual date of next review. Also my gov bank card has 5/22 expiration.
Concern: my official mailing address – dchs Alexandria,Va – 2525 Mt Vernon ave. Same place other official gov documents recently not received.
