Need a Replacement Social Security Card?

You can now apply for a replacement Social Security card online using your personal my Social Security account. If you meet all requirements and live in some states or the District of Columbia, you can start using this service today. Go to www.socialsecurity.gov/myaccount for more information.

      Hi Jean, thank you for your question. In order to request a replacement card online, you first need to register for a my Social Security account. If you do not qualify to apply online, then you can apply by mail or visit your local office with required documentation. All documents must be either originals or certified copies.     I want to get a Texas drivers license and need a social security card. I can’t rememv one answer and now I have to wait 10 days by mail to even get online due to forgetting one answer. This is not fair. I just want a replacement card. That is all I want. We are leaving Texas soon. I need help
