Was on hold for thirty minutes… they hung up on me. Was on hold another thirty minutes… they hung up on me. Was on hold for an hour and 15 minutes… they hung up on me. Was on hold another 45 minutes before they finally answered for a 10 minute conversation. When I call other big businesses they offer to call me back in the order I called and it always works. This is way too big of a company to not have up to date technology!

Thank you for responding. I will give that a try.

I got kicked out from the online retirement benefit application because my middle name is a letter and a period. An error message said “A period is not allowed in the name field”. However, the middle name on my social security card is a letter and a period. If I remove the middle name or remove the period in the middle name field, it kicks me out right away with the information like ‘the information entered does match with the social security record’. This problem should be addressed ASAP because it takes around 2 months just for scheduling a phone assistance appointment in this Covid 19 pandemic.

Wait time was minimal and the agent was kind and courteous!!

Hooray!!! Finally after being on hold for 45 minutes… I was transferred to a Social Security Associate named Johnny. He was so professional and calmed my nerves by answering all my questions in regards to my Medicare benefits deduction. It is definately hard to find now a days someone who is an assest to a company but he is definately that. I truly appreciate Johnny’s professionism!!!!

    • Ann C.

Hi, Denise. Thanks for your feedback! Your thoughts are important to us and we’re pleased when feedback is positive. We try hard to provide the best possible service to our customers and your satisfaction is our reward.

Been trying for four weeks. Finally got someone . Applying for my military benefits of an extra 100 a month .Person said they would call within 2weeks. Tried making appointment. I’ve been hung up on over a dozen times The person I talked to in lasalle peru hung up on me before all my ?s were answered and was rude.I served my country in the marine corp. Time to clean house and hire people that give a shit!! Sincerely coparal usmc!
