Get a Replacement Social Security Tax Form Online With Ease

If you misplaced your Benefits Statement or haven’t received it by the end of January, we’ve made it easy to go online to get a replacement with a personal my Social Security account.

      Hi George, thanks for using our blog. To change your withholding, you’ll need a Form W-4V from the Internal Revenue Service (IRS). Complete and sign the form and return it to your local Social Security office by mail. We hope this helps.

    I am trying to log in. First I login in with id and password. It says it doesn’t recognize. Then when I try to sign up as new account, it says I have an account. It won’t let me reset password.

Each of you may also be able to request replacement SSA-1099’s by using our automated telephone service at 1-800-772-1213. You can conduct the automated services 24 hours a day. At the prompt, indicate that you’re requesting a replacement SSA-1099. We hope this helps.

    I draw ss and receive statement to determine if I have to pay any income tax. I never have for past few years however I need information on my social security monies received either in 2018 or 2019 but have not been able to find what I received from Social Security. How can I get a duplicate copy for either of those years through SS?

    Supposedly SSI recipients don’t get a 1099 from the SSA, but I know I was definitely sent *some* kind of tax form late last year or earlier this year, and I’ve had no other source of income…if the form I was sent wasn’t the 1099, what was it?

    To whom it may concern; I have been trying to open a account but for some reason it is not allowing me, and i have to return the lab top. i have no access to a computer after this. Is there any way I can get a copy of my 1099 mailed to me for tax purposes. They claimed to have mailed on out, but people been breaking in our mail boxes here in our apartments stealing important mail. I had to file a report to the federal police department. In the mean time I have no luck with the computer and I’ve been trying to get a live person for the last 2 days. Everytime I call the SSA, i hold for over 2 hours, they pick up then hang up. It’s sad but true. Can someone please reach out and help me. Its for tax purposes and I called since 7am this morning and they keep me on hold, then they hang up. So sad but true.     For those struggling to find where on the SSA.gov site they can print a replacement 1099 online, here is a tip. You have be be logged on to the “secure” website, The site that LOOKS like it is not really it. I.E. site you logon to after you create your signon account is just an information site. If you put this site in your address bar and then login, you will actually be able to see the “Replacement Documents” menu item; it is over on the right-hand side of the front page.

    My Mom thinks she received here 1099 but cannot find it. Can we request a reissurance of the form to be sent to her address: Thelma L. Flanigan, 3051 E. Tropicana Ave, Las Vegas, NV 89121. I hesitate to include here SSN in the email, but the ending is #8887.
