Distant galaxy

This past winter, Americans of all generations awakened to the newest film in the Star Wars franchise, Star Wars: The Force Awakens. Many readers probably remember seeing the first Star Wars film in theaters in 1977. The advanced technology used by the Jedi and Sith in a galaxy far, far away seemed light years away.

While we still don’t have interstellar travel, personal robots, or holographic communication, we now use technology like the Internet and smart phones that would have seemed straight out of science fiction in 1977.

Thank you for your question, Verica. People cannot voluntarily contribute money to Social Security to gain Social Security credits for themselves or on behalf of someone else. A person can only earn Social Security credits by working in a job or business that is covered under Social Security.

America is doomed with all the pot-smokers, corrupt politicians, and wishful dreamers. Star Wars? What the hell are you all smoking, man, women, and homos?!!! We got a serious national crisis with the nation’s deficit, various intolerable threats from domestic and international terrorists, uncertain status of social security funding, historically numerous racial/gender/religious/political discriminations, continuous guilt trips and reverse discriminations, a socially divided nation with their fatuous leaders in scores of racially and ethnically represented Americans to say the least. Can you think of more? I am no Star Trek fan because that would only bring wood to put out the America’s fire. You frivolous dreamers and “Imagine” sycophants are destroying America from the inside out! The “American Dream is Alive” alright! You all dream of every man, woman, and homo for himself, herself, or bothselves! Let’s face it. We are all dreaming up a selfish lie.
