You know, the one that shows all the earnings you’ve had each year and how much you could receive per month in Social Security benefits when you retire? The Statement contains crucial information workers need to plan for a comfortable retirement. Now, thanks to my Social Security, this information—and so much more— is only a few minutes away!

Your personal my Social Security account is secure and gives you ready access to your earnings records, Social Security benefit estimates, and printable Statements. Those who already receive benefits can view their payment history, current status, and manage their benefits.

To open a personal my Social Security account, go to our website and select “Create an Account” to get started. You must be 18 years old, have a valid Social Security number, U.S. mailing address (or a military address if deployed overseas), and an email address.

In some cases — like if there was reported credit card fraud under your name or Social Security number — you may have to contact your local Social Security office to open a personal my Social Security account.

Once registered, you can:

  • Verify your earnings history.
  • View estimated Social Security benefits based on your past earnings.

    buying a car, got appoved by carmax. need verification of income,tried to open ss my online acct, already had one. called ss office to get new one, couldn’t get through first time. tried next day, got through fast, given what i needed. tried myacctonline again, got to phone #, that has changed. called ss again, told new code would be mailed to me 7-10 day’s that seems crazy will give new user and passwords in email, but not phone codes, anyway was told other option was to go to fax machine and stand by and they would fax me codes. hung up and went to where my son works and called back (by fax machine)this time told it would take 24 to 48 hours to fax, ask if i had to be by machine, she said yes. told her i couldn’t by machine for that long without bathroom breaks,smoke breaks, and food, she got the hint and said she would talk to fax lady, came back on phone and said would get it in 2 to 3 hrs, never got it, part of my disability is bi-polar,personality disorder,depression,suicidal,and extreme anger issues issues. decided not to call back,because it woudn’t of been a good confersation. what can i do, im going to loose out on the car of my dreams, please help me. arthur allen rapp 9404521463, rappallen@yahoo.com, dealing with ft worth office.

You can request a replacement SSA-1099/1042S for Tax Year 2018 by visiting your personal my Social Security account. You can also contact or visit your local Social Security office.     i cannot seem to get the dang security code texted to me, despite MULTIPLE attempts. yes, i waited the required 2 minutes. yes, i have a strong cell phone signal. no, i do not have any text blocking sent. so how am i supposed to log in to see my SS statement???! how am i supposed to be able to switch from texting to e-mailing of my security code (since obviously the texting method is not working…). your search facility for FAQs stinks too, as i cannot find ANYTHING regarding how to get around my issue……. PLEASE contact me with help ASAP.
