They sent me the wrong amount of money. I am $342.75 short. You based it on my 2018 income not my 2019. How do I get correct amount? Can I use what you owe me as part of my quarterly payment?

I am representative payee for my 80 year old mother. She still has not received her stimulus check, approved in April. I don’t understand delays, I’m trying to take care of myself and mom, under reduced hours at work due to covid, yet still see nothing. I’ve combed through website looking for direction, I can’t join personal account for her, there are no definite dates avail thru irs or ssa, I just wish there was a way to make sure I’m safe, delaying all my bills that way exceed the $1200 payment now, To take care of mom and myself. Please stop delays, please send out all payments now!

I can tell you right now that the IRS hotline is simply someone reading the FAQ that is already on the website. There is no way to speak to anyone and the information is no more helpful than the website.

Hi Angered, That is so true I called that number but could not get through. I spent half a day trying to reach a live Irs agent about my stimulus check that I have not received as of yet but finally I called a different number and press the extension to this toll free number for the irs. I was on hold for a long time but thank God I finally got through and the IRS representative was very kind and concern that I had not received my stimulus check the irs representative ask me my full name, social security number, and also ask me some identity questions only I would know, after that they put me on hold to look up my account and when they came back the irs respresentatiive gave a deposit date of June 6 direct deposit for me to receive my stimulus check to my bank account thank God I finally know my payment date here is the number to call 1800-829-0582 Ext. 652 you may be on hold for a long time but please don’t hang up a representative will answer your call and will look up your account after you provide them the information they request of you God bless you and hang in there you will be talking to a live person on this Irs number and not prerecorded information like all the other numbers this is the only number that worked for me and I did not have any problems I if you call them in the morning hours at this number they don’t start taking calls until 10:00 am
