The IRS will issue the EIPs via direct deposit and Direct Express starting today, May 22, to the same direct deposit account or Direct Express card as the recipient’s monthly Social Security or SSI payment. Paper check EIPs will be mailed starting May 27.

Hi Gina, thanks for using our blog. Supplemental Security Income recipients that began receiving benefits after January 1, 2020 and did not file tax returns should go to the IRS’ Non-Filer: Enter Payment Info Here tool to receive their own $1,200 payment and $500 payment for any qualifying children. You may only enter non-Direct Express bank account information for direct deposit, or leave bank information empty to receive a paper check by mail. There are step-by-step instructions on the Social Security and Coronavirus web page.

I am on SSI with a rep. Payee. I still don’t have anything deposited into my account. I’m going through a divorce, homeless so I really can use the stimulus check, I desperately need it.

Hello..it’s may 27th..and I still have not received my stimulus direct deposit
..I receive direct deposit social security benefits..no problem I’m..not required to file taxes..etc
All the info states..I don’t need to do anything..the stimulus money will be deposited.
The social security administration guidance states that I should have received my stimulus direct deposit on may 13th..
    Well..still nothing..
Anyone know when the direct deposits to social security recipients will land in our accounts?
    Thanks
    Bill

I’m a payee and the man I take care of still hasn’t received his EIP. I don’t know what to tell him. This is ridiculous. I thought low income individuals were suppose to get their payments first. Not true. My sister and her husband got their’s in April and they own two businesses, hardly poor people. I received mine in April also. My client is wondering if I’m lying to him!
