Submitting Fraud Allegations to the OIG

The SSA Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has determined that, due to a computer error, it did not receive any fraud allegations submitted through its online fraud-reporting form from 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

If you submitted an allegation during this time period, please re-submit your allegation online, or you may call the OIG’s fraud hotline at 1-800-269-0271. Thank you.

    Threatening phone calls from person identifying himself as SS Investigator. Also other serious allegations and asking financial questions. He was calling from 1-832-900-4265. Received 6 calls today.

    I was contacted by a man who said he was from ssa and had dea and dayton police on the linewith him
    hisnumber is 1-281-645-9867 name is agent jack conoway he said he was suppending my ss number that there was a warent out for my arrest for money laundring and dealing drugs. I just wanted to report this in as many places as I could so these nuts get caught

    On 6/6/19 I received a phone call from 469-272=6605 He claimed to be an officer from S.S.A.( officer Kevin Foster( GS77850) said my id # was DC7010. Told me I needed to give my info to him( S.S # ,birthdate, address ect.) Said there was a fraud alert on my Social Security. I did not give him the info and hung up. I’ve received 2 more calls from that number and did not answer. Is this a SCAM?

    Every day I receive a call from # 1-929-810-2067 and in short it leaves a message that my soc.sec. number is reporting frozen activities…….and for me to call their number because the Soc. Sec. Deputy Officer is waiting for my call before I get arrested. Please make this stop. There is no wrong activity on my part pertaining to my soc. sec. account.

    I received a call to my cell telling me to call 202-580-8307 or be arrested. The message was that my social security number was used in fraud. I did not call the number back.

    3 calls in 2 days saying they were as number 512- 333-7941 and that they had fraught charges pending in me .o hung up it was a pre-order message

    This is to report telephone calls from this number 330-475-7179 stating fraud investigation on SS#. But does not states whose. I listen to the recording but do not press any numbers it ask for. The telephone number comes up on caller Id as unknown.

    5/30/19 @ 5:21p.m. I received a automated voice mail call from 606-393-4803 RE: Suspension of my SS number. I called the number to inquire. A male foreigner told me my full name and said the call was the result of a notice REF: Fraudulent use of my SS number in TX. He asked if I had been to TX. Then asked for my DOB & SSN. I gave neither. Suspicion led me to say there’s a bad connection & that I would call back. But didn’t. Instead I’m notifying you/submitting fraud allegation. Please reply with finding. Thank you.
