Submitting Fraud Allegations to the OIG

The SSA Office of the Inspector General (OIG) has determined that, due to a computer error, it did not receive any fraud allegations submitted through its online fraud-reporting form from 3:30 p.m. on Monday, September 10 to 9:30 a.m. on Wednesday, September 12, 2018.

If you submitted an allegation during this time period, please re-submit your allegation online, or you may call the OIG’s fraud hotline at 1-800-269-0271. Thank you.

    I received a call o my cell phone today telling me that my social security number has been suspended and tha t I should press 1 to talk to someone. When I did so, knowing that it was a scam, the call was disconnected.

    Last couple days have got at least 10 calls that my social security could be cut off if I do not call this number 315-907-1440. Had 8 calls on the 30th and 2 on the 1st.

    eI have been receiving phone calls stating they are the Social Security A dm. and that there are Legal enforcements against my Social Security.
    calls from: 1-209-266-7967 and was told to call back at 1-209-210-4973.

    I just received a second call claiming they were from Social Security and they tell me my social security number has been suspended, they called me from 1-888-810-0913

    SEVERAL FRAUD PHONE CALLS AND VOICEMAL I DID NOT ANSWER TO MY CELL PHONE I HAVE CALLER ID PICKED UP NUMBERS AND CITY CALLING FROM ,PRETENDING TO BE SSA OFFICERS.THAT MY SS CARD HAS BEEN COMPRIMISED CALL OR BE UNDER ENDICMENT 1-7078144182-GEEPERVILLE, CA; 1-916-744-2849-COURTLAND, CA, 1-530-868-6938, BIGGS, CA AND MORE ..I BLOCKED THESE CALLS TODAY OR ALL THAT I COULD DELETE, THANK YOU AND THANKS FOR YOUR SERVICE! GOOD LUCK

    Receiving fraud phone calls from 1-530-868-6938- Biggs ,Ca. & other Ca. #’S{707}, on my cell phone, that I have problems with my SS?

    In the past several weeks, I have been receiving phone calls, on my cell #, from California, stating that I must speak to some one about my case with Social Security. I know I should be contacted by US MAIL, not by phone!——-Biggs California-1-530-868-6938 & other California phone numbers.

    i received a phone call last night 5:30 pm stating that my social security number has been suspended. They said to push line # for further instructions. I hung up. I called the number back. It was 1-800-20-0271. It said all offices were closed.
