Hi, Erica. Thanks for your question. Unfortunately, you can only create a my Social Security account using your own personal information and for your own exclusive use. You cannot create or use an account on behalf of another person, even if you have that person’s written permission. If your son is at least 18 years of age, he can create his own account. How do I go about getting a SS card without my middle name on it. My middle name is not on my birth certificate because it was a confirmation name I took. When I went to get the Real ID I was told my birth certificate and SS Card must match. Is there away I can be issued a new card without my middle name.
