The process is very confusing. I have an account but have forgotten my user name and password. Your system cannot help retrieve either of them. I need a replacement SScard ASAP.

My husband, Vaughn Sterner, and I are ever so grateful for the freedom which retiring early and receiving SSI benefits endowed us with, enabling us to care for his mother in her home until her demise while caretaking 24/7 which involved many dr appts, surgeries and hospitalizations. We would never have been able to help care for all 4 of our parents without SSI and early retirement!!!!!! Thank you, SSA, for enabling and enhancing our dream for each one of our parents…that of allowing them to live in their homes in upper Northern VT and SE PA, and receive home services. It’s all part of “GIVING BACK” isn’t it?? If we had to do it all over again, we would in exactly the same way!!! Praise God for His Providences!!!! We give Him all the credit and glory for the way He provides abundantly for so many through SSA and SSI. We have assisted several street people in the last few years who are greatly benefitting from SSI. We really appreciate all the very helpful comments and replies on this website! Many thanks to your Webmaster for improvising easy negotiability throughout this website!!!!! May God bless each and every one of your astounding team!!!!! Thank you for just being THERE for us all….for making our lives so much easier!!!! May our God of Providence smile sweetly on each one and provide abundantly for all your needs, also. This government by the people and for the people is a wonderful historical tribute to our Founding Fathers who fought diligently for Life, Liberty and the Pursuit of Happiness!!!!! SSI provides all of those marvelous freedoms, doesn’t it??!!!!!! Heartfelt appreciation from all of us on the Happy receiving end!!!!!! God bless all!!!!! Tears of JOY and Gratitude!!!!! Vaughn & Gail Sterner, HAPPY ON SSI!!!!

Extending our gracious gratitude & thanks for SSI which enabled my husband and I to retire just in time to care for his mother at home full-time which entailed many dr appts, surgery and recuperation time plus 24/7 care. We had both tried to work full-time and travel to care for all 4 aging parents in 2 different states. Social Security benefits are a tremendous blessing!!!! God bless all!!!!! We love how you care for people!!!!!

  5. GAIL A.

I thank you all for this very convenient and informative online Social Security website which includes very helpful instructions as well as saves trips into the city, finding parking and waiting in lines to perform these tasks. Thanks for making Social Security updates easy to negotiate from home!!!!!

  6. GAIL A.

Please include middle name of ADEEN just as listed on driver’s license: GAIL ADEEN STERNER. My credit history gets intermeshed with that of another Gail Sterner in the state of MA. This change will provide a very good distinction! Thank you so very much!

  7. GAIL A.

Would like MIDDLE NAME added to Social Security Card as it is on driver’s license, please and thank you, for better identification distinction from another Gail Sterner in another state (MA) whose credit data becomes enmeshed with mine.

I tried to do this online today and lost my mind somehow and landed on a website where I was charged $39+ for the filled out form and a mailing label and several pages of instructions. Is this sort of business/scam legal?
