Somehow My SS account doesn’t recognize me. I am trying to enter my address but I live in Ireland and there doesn’t appear to be an option for entering foreign country addresses.

    Thanks,
    Frank

    • L.A.

Hi Francis. At this time you must have a U. S. mailing address to create or access your online account. People with APO/FPO/DPO addresses can create an account overseas, but our system does not support registration and account creation for users with a foreign address yet. If you are living outside the United States, you can contact your nearest Federal Benefits Unit for assistance with Social Security questions. For information on Social Security benefit payments outside of the U.S., please see our publication titled “Your Payments While You Are Outside the United States.” We hope this information helps.

been trying for 2 days to set up an online SSA account. apparently every noun, number and character is unavailable. Why don’t you just assign people a log on name? I’ve tried using colors, relative’s first names, tried using things I see in the room I’m in. This is a real pain.
