I tried to create an account But the questions asked about a mortgage are wrong. I don’t haot ve one! Also the question about a middle name does not have any names that related to me. How to I sign up for an account when the question are not applicable to me? My answers of “none of the above” get me rejected.

This was very complicated ! I seldom use this account but in trying to get a copy of my SSA-1099 several days ago …my password or username would not work. So I lost access to my account and had to wait for a letter from you with a temporary password and a security code.
Now I can’t find how to change my password to a permanent password ! It all started when I could not remember my best childhood friend as I had so many friends. I believe I created the personal friend, etc. names many, many years ago and had forgotten which friends name I submitted. How can I update the friend question?

How can I create a MyAccount for my husband if he does not use a computer, or have an email address? You make it very clear that I cannot create an account for anyone other than myself. We are moving in one week and all I wanted to do was change his address. I set up a MyAccount for myself, but don’t want to be a criminal and set one up for him if it is illegal. Help!

  8. Tami C.

There is no information provided regarding the creation of an account for My Social Security account when it does not allow you to complete the first page because “Could not verify it is me”. This is very frustrating because my information is correct and I cannot determine where there is fault in this process. Now I cannot utilize the on-line service which would be a huge convenience to me.
