What would be really nice would be if I could file a W-4 online rather than filling it out and mailing it in. Also, it would be nice to be able to choose a percentage income tax deduction other than the preset ones, especially something between 12% and 22%

The list of those things you say is new on “my social security ” is a lie. I have been able to do most of that for more than a year. You cannot be trusted to give us facts any more.

After the new SSA Commissioner spoke with Pres. Trump about the efforts and increased efficiency executed under his direction, including reduction of telephone hold times, I tried calling the Department during a week day but waited over one and-one-half hours before hanging up the call. There does not appear to be any improvement in this area in spite of his example of holds being reduced sometimes to fifteen minutes or so. I have waited over three and one-half hours for help during which the telephone calls were dropped! This telephone communication attempts are very infuriating and need improvement.

I’ve had a SS account for over 10 years and most those “new features” have been available during that 10 years.

Information says to register we have to take a picture of us and upload it. We don’t know how to do that.
