If we ssi people don’t get anything then I will also just go about my life and not do deliveries and not get any supplies. I just can’t do this another month, its too much. if I get sick I am not staying home, I can’t. if it spreads in New hampshire because of me.. sorry. this is my reality, and that will be theirs.

  2. cynthia

People who receive a check every month, month after month, be it SSID or SSI, your check is guaranteed not to change or be effected by the virus. I am in that boat also. I am thankful that I have my SSI. My adult children are out of work…. they were at the 125K last year. Now they are at 0 with their business shutdown. They need a check, I can still get by. See the difference whinney wienies???

    • George

Yes I see the difference and I sure hope your business never reopens. No what I mean, stupid cunt?

    • David S.

I love that your childrens business is currently in the shitter. Fuck them:)

    • CJ

You are wrong on so many levels but your ignorance wont let you see it. Prices have gone up people have to pay for food deliveries in fear of going out and getting sick. They may be going through supply’s at home faster having kids there instead of in school. So yes everyone effected one way or another. IF you don’t want the cash send it back simple as that.

    • danny

Fuck off Cynthia. I’m sure you are quite familiar with “wienies” Dumb broad

    • Just M.

WELL let me just say this… If their income was 125k last year and they have no money then their as dumb as you are!!!!

I hear Walmart is hiring or are they to good for Walmart?

    • Johnny B.

Your children are sliding you something on the side how dumb do you think people are ??? you told on yourself after mentioning the 125k

    • Angel

Hey Cynthia. SSI maxes out under $800 p/mo. I know I cant barely survive on that let alone live or be haughty enough to call OTHER SSI recipients “whineywhinies” . Soooo ….since ur doin so well, where ur other $ comin from? U arent in the same boat as everyone so sit down …and shut up. This stimulus $ is a Godsend for those of us in areas where grocery costs r rising (up to +1.25 for some things within 4 days at my local store), and who actually HAVE to pinch pennies – because 10cents is akin to 10dollars when on SSI. And ALSO for those of us who DONT have richyrich kids providing us with a supplemental financial cushion.
Btw…does Social Security know ur kids help you? Do they? Cos SSI ALSO counts ‘gifts’ as income. Oops….better get ready for a MAJOR Review, including the need for receipts, bank statements and detailed expenses vs. ur income (only SSI right!?), smart one! Just shut up pls. U havent a CLUE.

Who will receive a check? All U.S. residents who are not a dependent of another taxpayer and have a work eligible social security number are eligible.
This is true even for those who have no income, as well as those whose income comes entirely from non-taxable means-tested benefit programs, such as SSI benefits.Individuals making more than $99,000 and couples making more than $198,000 will not qualify for a payment.

    • kristie

      WTF
I AM SO SICK OF THIS

Fuck you government enjoy all the fucking problems you have created you fucking dishonest twats. If I cant afford to do deliveries and go everywhere I need, hunting down FUCKING SHIT I CANT AFFORD and GET THIS ILLNESS, you can just forget about me quarantining myself! HOW THE FUCK CAN I?? I CANT AFFORD DELIVERIES ASSHOLES

    • sally

And to think, my daughter and I spent the last of both of our money to get material and started making masks to give to the medical department?Thinking it would be okay, we still had enough food for the rest of the week, and our Country will take care of us. Wow. I am all done, no more. Good luck all.

Not quite. You had to earn and file a tax return in 2018, most SSI seniors aren’t required if they earn or receive 23,000 in SSI income. You will NOT receive a dime.

  6. whatever

If you are on SSI, you are not getting a stimulus check. The only way that would be possible is if they change the bill at the very last minute. I, for one, paid taxes since I was 16 years old. Took care of my father after I was 44 so my work history is spotty since then. Diagnosed with Metastatic Breast Cancer and didn’t meet the SSDI work hours requirement so I am on SSI. I don’t matter. My tax dollars obviously didn’t matter either but they sure did collect them.

    • anthony p.

YOU ARE GETTING ONE. Stop whining and try reading. how many damn times do these gracious people have to post the links for people to get it!?

    • duh

You may want to check where your getting your info. because you are getting one

  7. Brie

Does a spouse who receives spousal ssdi benefits receive a stimulus check?

  8. Irene C.

Now that the stimulus payment has been into place for individuals for 1200 and 500 for children who is a household under 75,000 for a child who is a recipient of SSI or an SSI receipt, in general, is the stimulus check going to be exempt/not countable resource limit to the countable resource limit for a certain time period such as federal tax return, disaster fund, relief, etc. 12 months, 9 months, or 1 months. It also shouldn’t be countable income:) Please let us know and post on your website to make sure that we are not concerned.

    • Elias

why are u worried? u get nothing.

      • CJ

Why don’t you go crawl in a hole and wait to know for sure like everyone else and stop spreading misinformation and or speculation.

  9. Sabrina a.

i would like to know if myself and my boyfriend who recives disability will we get extra money because of the coronavirus for having to stay our home until it’s over

    • george

      no

    • CJ

ignore George he is a hateful old troll. It is not set in stone yes or no. What I have read as of recent makes it sound like a yes. “However, you are still eligible for a check if you have no income or if you rely solely on non-taxable government benefit programs like Supplemental Security Income benefits, or SSI, from Social Security. If you didn’t yet file a 2019 return, the government will use your 2018 information if it has it. It also may use a 2019 Social Security benefit statement, or Form SSA-1099, or the Social Security Equivalent Benefit Statement, or Form RRB-1099” That is per one news source others have it written different no one really knows 100% yet.

  10. No o.

    Now I’m confused…
    Am I getting $600 or am I getting $1200?
I filed 2019 taxes last year and got some money back….

    • Jason

Yes, you are eligible if IRS has a filing
