Here is a quote concerning those of us that do not file taxes/have no federal tax liability:
‘Cash payments of up to $1,200 would go to individuals, with up to $2,400 for couples. The sum would increase by $500 for every child. The check totals would start to phase out above $75,000 in adjusted gross income based on 2018 tax returns. People with no federal tax liability would get only $600.’

Similar position that I am in. Been in limbo by social security since 2015 but at least my kids are adults now but having a stroke and having to play games with the system really is rough after working and paying my taxes for 25 plus years. I am on 9 different meds that the only way now I can get them is through medicaid. guess we will see what happens. Good Luck

    I miss my aunt.
I hate that we get nothing.

ALL Legal adults should get a check. We All paid SS, and still pay many state, local, ^ fed taxes other than payroll. – All legal adults should qualify, citizen or not. This is an emergency and all must unite in love and cooperation.

Exactly… I get SSI but I’m struggling to pay property taxes! Wish they counted.

I am on social security, and I just received my social security check in 2017. That was my last time working a job trying to load a crate holding 6 boxes at a time stacking them on the crate. After hours, after hours, after hours of doing it. My whole body shut down on me. I went to the doctor to get my back checked out. Turned out I was born with a birth defect I never knew about at that time after learning I was in pain for so many years. Thanks God he always on time. My doctor laid me off work for months. Next thing i knew. I was called to the social security office to go back to the doctor for a check up again. Especially I have a hearing problem along with a speech impediment, and can’t stand long period of time. I was diagnosed with back problem that would cause my spine to die and eat up my brain, then I can die from it. I wish I could go back to work, but doing so much movement would cause me to lose my balance due to my lower back being frail. I pray everyday for proper healing through the grace of God. Don’t judge other what they can do or can’t do. I can’t do nothing no more. Child support taking out my check, plus along with overpayments of 77.50 coming out my check every month, and I have rent of 895 dollars to pay in 2 years. Ppl are so greedy especially my babymama who is a school teacher still taking my. 150.00 out my check every month. Even those my son 15 now. I’ve been paying child support for 13 years now. Don’t complain, just leave everything in God hands. Social security so cheap we’re living off 760 a month but I’m living off 538 a month now. Not enough to afford my rent in recent years. I don’t work at all.

  6. LINDA

    That was well said.

      Robot Linda,

      Shut the fuck up.

  7. LINDA G.

    That was well said.

  8. Mwalker

No sense in calling the office if you can’t get things done online. Recently tried to call and was on hold an hour before the system disconnected me. Tried multiple times with no success.

  9. Twon P.

We the people on SSI are we gonna get checks like everybody else we only get $780 a month that’s it. It’s really hard with only one income

  10. Concerned C.

Only taxpayers are getting the checks. I have not worked in a little over a year due to illness. I have no income. Having to stay with father due to the fact I lost my apartment. But no $1000 check for me ” the poor “. TRUMP YOU SUCK!

    • LINDA G.

      That was well said.

    • cynthia

If you worked in 2018 you should get a check. the Dems suck, who have tried to load the bill with stupid shit like tax breaks for solar panels and funding for abortions. what does that have to do with the virus. Dems voted NO 3 times holding the American Public hostage for days, Remember that in November. Trump 2020
