    My social security statement I pulled on line does not show the correct birth date. I do I know if it is the correct statement for me?

    • R.F.

      Hello Jeannie. Unfortunately, and because of security reasons we do not have access to personal records in this blog and cannot answer your question at this time. One of our agents should be able to provide you with an explanation. If your date of birth needs to be corrected on our records, our representatives will provide you with the proper guidance to follow. Please call our toll free number at 1-800-772-1213 for assistance. Representatives are available Monday through Friday, between 7 a.m. and 7 p.m. Generally, you will have a shorter wait time if you call later during the day or later in the week. Thanks!

    Hello,
    What identification is needed to obtain a replacement ssn card?

    • R.F.

      Hi Mary Kay, we prefer a government issued document with your picture, as proof of identity to replace your Social Security card. If you do not have one or you cannot get one within a reasonable amount of time, we may be able to use other documents such as:
      •Employee identification card;
      •School identification card;
      •Health insurance card; or
      •U.S. military identification card.
      Any document you submit, must be an original or certified copy, current (not expired) and show your name, and other identifying information (date of birth or age).
      Also, realize that you may not need a replacement card. You will rarely need to show it. Knowing your Social Security number is what is important.
      To see if you’re eligible to apply for a replacement Social Security card online or to learn more on the process and what documents you will need to get a card, please visit our “Social Security Number and Card” web page.
      We hope this information helps!

      We apologize for the inconvenience, Cheryl. For security reasons, we do not have access to information about personal accounts in this venue. If you applied for a Social Security card and have not received your submitted proofs, you will have make direct contact with the local office where you applied to check the status. You should contact that office as soon as possible. Just a reminder – please be cautious about posting personal information on social media. Thanks.

    This is a truly intuitive feature. Considering we are on this subject, kindly permit True First to introduce a television series that details the remarkable pursuits of the ambitious groundbreakers that bypassed the racial obstacles. By honoring the successes of the African society who created our communal, intellectual and administrative institutions, True First offers a consequentially inclusive record. Read about heroes including Olaudah Equiano along with Shirley Chisholm.

    this is ridiculous!!!! I cant even get the page to show up to print!!!!!!! I want my estimated benefits until 70.

  9. John R.

    How can I obtain a copy of the 2018 Social Security Earnings.

  10. Wayne A.

    I can’t create an SS account online even with the help of SS on the phone. Equifax has made it virtually impossible to get my SS account to setup. The people at SS couldn’t do a thing to help me other than tell me to contact equifax which accomplished nothing. After four attempts calling the SS reps I think they threw in the towell also and told me to go to my local SS office so I’m one very frustrated SS recipient. All I want is an earnings statement and they say it’s been sent but I never get it? Sigh!
