This is my second one as I did not get the check that I was told to get it. First, I got a letter from the Social Security about the payment and I was asked to contact the SS if I have any question. I called couple times and finally the Social Security administrator in Baltimore asked me to start buying a Gift card for $1500.00 to ensure my social security number is the right one and told me that he will send the check for $54362.00. I bought the Gift card and texted him and I was told from the company that I lost it as somebody already used it. He finally transferred me to another guy in NY and that guy asked me to buy another Gift Card for $250.00 and was telling me that I will get it the check after I buy the card. I bought the Gift card and texted him too and I was expecting to get the check but did not get it yet. I have also lost that $250.00 Gift Card. And when I asked him why did not send the check, said that I have to pay tax. As I told him , I normally follow the law and do the tax as well. Asked him to send the check and the paper for the tax and how much it is and where to send it but he did not send me the check and the papers about how much is the tax and where to send it.
I first started the Gift Card in April and did the second one last month and yet did not get the check now. In our first conversation, I was told that I will get it soon, the check for $54362.00 buy did not get it. When I went to SS office in Silver Spring, they asked me to send you the message on line so that you can understand it. Hopefully you will understand what I said and will send me the check and the letter so that I can send the tax too, if needed.

I received a phone call from (281) 346-9396 on 8/19/19 5:12 pm Colorado Time. The caller said my Social Security had been compromised and I needed to contact them at another special number to keep myself safe.
I hung up the phone, and blocked the number. The only words I spoke was hello.

I received telephone call today- person with an accent stated Social Security office and that I should contact them or y account would be closed. I clicked and got a person with poor English speaking . I advised that person that I would call my local office as my daughter in-law worked for them (that was a lie) and the person then hung up. I would never give anyone my information but would go to the local office.
