My husband and, therefore, I have been the victims of a scam. He unfortunately, charged funds and drew out funds in order to follow the instructions given. The Caller ID totally fooled him. This happened over July 11 and 12. He finally halted the calls today once they threatened that APD has an arrest warrant and were coming for him because he wasn’t going to pay more. We are embarrassed and sad for the money lost. What is our recourse at this point.

Received a call from 18003250778 saying my Social Security was being suspended. I hung up, called that 800 number only to find it is the TTY number for SS. I was given 18007721213 to call and in turn given the 800 for the OIG and the on line address. If they are using the actual number for Social Security, I find that very disturbing. A lot of older people will fall for their scam. The one thing about their call, they do not address you by name so they have no idea who they are talking to.
