It won’t be very happy for those disabled claimants that wait months and years for their rightful benefits, assuming they manage to live long enough to get them. I literally just got off the phone with a client who has an eviction notice and utility shutoff notices as we enter this Xmas weekend blizzard. It would be nice if I could get anyone to answer the phone at OHO.

Could you register in My social security if your resident is not in the U.S.A

    • Ann C.

Hi, Elena. Thanks for visiting our blog. We’re sorry for any inconvenience. You will need a U.S. address to register for a personal my Social Security account. Since you are living outside of the U.S., please contact your local  Federal Benefits Unit for any assistance related to Social Security benefits. Also, our Office of International Operations home page provides more information to assist our customers living abroad. We hope this helps.
