Coronavirus (COVID-19): Important Information about Social Security Services

All local Social Security offices will be closed to the public for in-person service starting Tuesday, March 17, 2020. This decision protects the population we serve—older Americans and people with underlying medical conditions—and our employees during the Coronavirus (COVID-19) pandemic. However, we are still able to provide critical services.

How is it that the state can deduct money from a person that is already paying the child support when it comes to the Stimulus check they receive noneAnd as a result do to a person that is already on Social Security and only received $470 a month so tell me how was the person is to continue to make it when we call this a state of emergency I think you guys should take a better look into those that are doing the best they can and panic child support with what they got

I went to Florida for the holidays, and then came to the the covin-19 out break, and asked to for assistance earlier, but got none. Unlike most, I really needed the assistance, for medical reasons, and I would like to know, when will my stimulus check will arrive?

I applied for SSA/SSI disability on January 27, 2020. Frecuently, I check the status, last February was in level 3. Since then it doesn’t move up. Either I haven’t get any letter or phone call from SSA.
I have my all medical records I quick job for my condition year ago. With the crisis I need to know the decision to my application.

I have direct deposit for ssdi and filed a taxe form because I owe for first time home buyer, the IRS took what I owed this year but I haven’t received my stimulus check. The get my payment app keeps saying the information I input is wrong, I’ve been doing this for better than 2 weeks now. Everyone I know has got theirs through direct deposit.
