Anunciacion P. Blanco, what is the status of my social security benefits now that I am a widow with no survivors benefits yet?

      • Jimbo

You have to apply for survivor benefits. Call you SSA office first thing Monday. SSA does not pay any survivor benefits before you apply for them, it is money lost.

        Good luck

My SSA pension was approved to begin with October 2020 but however is pending coz I cant submit a lawfull presence.I am married to a citizen but she abused me and filed a VAWA but was has been denied. There was an option in their decision to leave the US and can be able to avail it in my home country SSA branch. How true is this?

Yeah the, online” free personal my Social Security account” might be easier to use if passwords weren’t REQUIRED to be changed so often, after 6 years having a “my Social Security account” I got fed-up so I called the Social Security HelpDesk phone number to have my online account permantly DEACTIVATED!!

    • Jimbo
