I received a phone this morning from 818-727-1213 stating there was an arrest warrant issued for me and that I needed to return their call as soon as possible. When I called back, I spoke to a man by the name of Peter Smith with an Iranian accent and he knew my name except he didn’t know my full SS number. I told him if you are from the Social Security Department and you know where I live then you should know my number. After he cursed at me he hung up and called again 2 days later but didn’t answer when I pushed the number 1 to speak with a representative. I feel very unsafe with these people calling.

I received a phone call from 363-204-0215 at 12:04 pm and it appeared to be coming from a machine which states, “They are going to suspend my social security number immediately. On last week I received a phone call from 361-202-0064 and they was threatening to start legal proceedings against me. They wanted me to return my call to them. But when I called them back they immediately hang up the phone. I heard them mention something about social security but I could not fully understand them. I am going to block their numbers immediately. Thanks !

My wife received a call today, that I am sure was a spam call concerning fraud charges again her from SSA. The phone number was 1-361-282-6953. From the state of Texas. Last week I received a similar call, myself. But I deleted the call before thinking.

I just wrote a comment about “Lisa”, who I don’t know if she really works for Social Security. I wrote my email address wring. I’m writing to correct it.

I Am writing to ask if this contact is a legitimate Social Security worker. Last Friday, Dec 6, I received a phone call from “Lisa”, who claimed to be a Social Security worker. She said that I had submitted the application for extra help for medical prescriptions. She said I had omitted some information and that I didn’t have to call her back, because I was not home when she called, but if I wanted, I could call her back. I did remember asking about the extra help. I cal,Ed her back at the number she left on my answering machine. It was 1 800 775-7802 Ext 33553. I returned her call. She said she was not going to send me anything in the mail. The only thing she verified was my social security number. I reluctantly gave it to her. When I checked on my answer machine, the number came up 570 831-1296. Today, I received the application for the extra help in the mail.
Please check to see if this was a legitimate call or a fraud. Thank you.

Dec 9, 2019· I received a voice mail today at 14:14 from California, 657-777-2406 which I believed was a fraud call, stating that my Social Security number would be frozen due to a legal MDV report. I need to call back, no report or claim number was given in the voice mail. When I did call back, they said they were the Social Security Admin, and wanted all of my personal information. The person, a man, spoke very bad English and hard to understand. I didn’t feel good about it so I said I couldn’t understand him, he just said if I wouldn’t give him the information, have a good day and he hung up.
