I received a call from someone at 1-800-618/-4904 that stated they were from the ssa administration. They stated that my ss account has been frozen due to fraudulent activity and to press 1 to speak to a representative. I did press 1 and the Spanish speaking girl asked for my full name. At that time I asked her, how do I know that you are actually calling from ssa. She responded ” If you are going to waste my time just forget it asshole” and hung up.

Phone call messages reporting the SSA has fraudulent activity on my SSA number which may result in me losing my benefits and the taking of my bank account. One such message left in a foreign sounding voice, another left in a very American voice.

I just received a call from “the SS dept” saying my SS# was suspended due to suspicious activity. They wanted my name and SS#. The man had a very heavy accent and i told him i wasn’t giving him any info but i would hang up and call the SS dept and find out what was going on. At that point he said “No, I’m the SS officer and my badge ” is”. I hung up before he could finish. The call came from this #
1800-993-4395 which is a fraudulent #. I attempted to call the SS fraud line and got a recording saying Thank you for calling Skytell and it hung up.
