“Today, the Court issued clarifying guidance about the Temporary Restraining Order (TRO) related to DOGE employees and DOGE activities at the Social Security Administration (SSA). Therefore, I am not shutting down the agency. President Trump supports keeping Social Security offices open and getting the right check to the right person at the right time. SSA employees and their work will continue under the TRO.”

If you shut down social security using some lame excuse, you know there will be hell to pay!

If the social security administration would deactivate the social security numbers of deceased people. Fraud could be reduced.

They do deactivate SS#s when someone dies. The myth about deceased people still receiving Social Security is a blatant Trump lie. He is well aware there’s a list of people NOT receiving So Security but have no formal death certificate on record. Trump’s been told numerous times but apparently thinks it’s a useful lie.

Good news about the TRO. Keep evil, disgusting Musk and his minions off our social security. It is not a ponzi scheme since it’s money I’ve paid into for over 45 years.

I do not trust this administration or DOGE efforts by the South African, at all. All of us SS recipients and future recipients should be concerned/alarmed about future cuts/restrictions.

President Trump may support keeping Social Security offices open, but tell me why, as the Social Security office building leases come up they’re not renewing the leases and shutting down those offices? The physical office that is closest to my location is now shutting down and there is no information as to what office will be available for me to visit. There is a potential that I will have to drive 100 miles to the nearest Social Security office. That’s information I received from my local newspaper today. Can we fact check this SSA? Or someone else gonna blow smoke up our back sides?

Was Trump and his DOGE going to take away our monthly benefits? Wow I think a lot of us started working when we were 14 years old – I am just dumbfounded – there seems to be some ignorance or atrocity with what it means to be an American…

All I can say is that you better not be thinking about shutting down Sicial Security for any reason whatsoever. Everyone paid into Social Security. It’s our money.
