I want you to hear directly from me how the COVID-19 pandemic is affecting our services. The first thing you should know is that we continue to pay benefits. Be aware that scammers may try to trick you into thinking the pandemic is stopping your Social Security payments but that is not true. Don’t be fooled.

To protect you and help stop the spread of this coronavirus, we cannot accept visitors in our offices at this time. There are several other ways you can get help. Many services are available online. If you have a critical need that you cannot address online, we can help you over the phone.

This money will have to happen again, imo.. they are saying this is going to hit us again hard come fall.
That is, if we are even alive by then.

Rep. Thomas Massie, R-Ky, has insisted on a recorded vote on the $2 trillion dollar stimulus bill, effectively delaying its passage. In other words, he’s making the United States citizens wait for much-needed relief.

  4. Me

    The House passed the bill!
It’s on its way to Trump!

I hope this eases everyones minds a bit. I found this article that says it was an hour ago.

    https://www.aarp.org/politics-society/advocacy/info-2020/coronavirus-stimulus-checks.html

If u receive SSI SSDI. You will get a stimulus check. I am assuming if you receive your SSI payment on a direct express card like most do, that it would come on your card. (I am still unsure on this) but it does say you do not need to file your taxes to receive it. I believe that everyone is going to be hit hard by this pandemic and everyone is going to need a little extra help. I hope this eases your minds some. Stay prayed up n God bless us all. We are a strong country and will get past this. RIP to those that have lost their lives to this virus and prayers for anyone that has lost family or friends due to this. At a time like this we all need to relax and show some love to eachother….Have a blessed day!

I received SSD every month, I am married but my husband has not worked in 6 years do to medical problems. He just started working this year. We did not have to file taxes in the last 6 years because of my social security disability is under $13000 a year and my husband was unemployed. Will we be included in the stimulus package and receive $1200 or $ 2400 for a married couple. Thank you for your help.

    • Me

      I think just $1200
If you filed taxes jointly I think then you’d get the $2,400

But since he hasn’t worked and hasn’t filed taxes and you didn’t file either, I believe it’d just be the $1200.

I believe in the link I sh
Hated above states that if you just started working this year before this virus, then you will get the $1200 on your tax returns in 2021

Ms.Ann C., Public Affair Specialist, Is it Law yet? We need to hear from you now. What is the Law affecting the SSI,SSDI beneficiaries and recipients concerning the Stimulus package amount and eligibility?

If you get your ssi, ssd on direct payment

That is how they will send your money!

Looks like direct payments will go out the fastest within 2-3 weeks after Trump signs the bill.

    If it passes the house!

We will know sometime today if it passes!

They were suppose to vote on it this morning at 9:30am.

Almost an hour later and no word yet.

    Just sit tight!

    We will know soon!
