The IRS will issue the EIPs via direct deposit and Direct Express starting today, May 22, to the same direct deposit account or Direct Express card as the recipient’s monthly Social Security or SSI payment. Paper check EIPs will be mailed starting May 27.

Visit our website to learn about EIPs and representative payees. You can find the eligibility requirements and other information about the EIPs at the IRS’ Economic Impact Payment Information Center.

That’s fantastic however I have not received my impact payment. I was assured that if I am a Social Security recipient and have direct deposit the payment would be direct deposited into my account. I have been receiving my payments to the same account for over 2 years. I don’t understand what the issue is. Thank you!

But I got a check even though my SS payment is direct deposit. Not complaining just thought it would have been cheaper to send it direct deposit.

    Hello,
I’ve stopped paying for income taxes, since I became disabled, SSI. I’m still waiting for my Stimulus Check of $1,200. I normally receive my disability direct deposit into my checking account. Will I be qualified, since I don’t pay taxes, since I became disabled.
    Please help me know.

    Hi
I am a social and ssi drawer which is 86 years young , have thro great depression and war.
I have worked at low paying jobs since i was 16 years of age . I know for a fact that some one did not keep my recordes straightm i was able to prove this at a late time in my life, so i know that i know this happened .
The low income i recieve is so low i cannot make ends meet , so i am letting you know that thanks to God and Trump that a time like this i am getting a little extra.
I learned thro people that i did thier hair that people that came from other countries recieved more ssi alon that i recieved total, now you may say that i sound unhappy ? Would you be if you were an 86 year young female AMERICAN that did not have a chance to go to school ?
Just because i was born in America to very poor parents at a very bad time . I am paying a big price that is verry wrong to do to an American while other people are living so flowlshie spending money they did not earn !

I recieve Social Security survivor benefits, have direct deposit, not required to file taxes, do not have a payee, no dependents and not claimed on anybody else’s return. What about my stimulous. The chart on the ssa website says people in my category should have recieved their by the end of April. I have NOT!!! The get my payment still says status unavailable. The IRS only gives these updates on ssi and ssdi?
