Mr. Dudek commented that his mother or mother in law would not complain if she/they did not get their ssa check, he does not have a grip on reality. Their are many many people that need their checks every month to survive. This billionaire needs to stop being so aloof and try to under stand that there are ordinary retiree’s that use these checks to pay their rent, food and their monthly bills. This was a poor choice to head social security. Nice job Mr. Trump!

Message for SS Admin and Lee Dudick – Keep your miserable paws off our Social Security. How dare you think you and your billionaire buddies have the right to send most of the population below the poverty line while you just get richer off taxpayer money. Losers!

Stop Undermining Social Security – Reopen Offices, Restore Staff!

Closing SSA offices, slashing staff, and forcing elderly and disabled Americans to appear in person—while shutting down locations—is blatant sabotage. This agency exists to serve, not obstruct. Reverse these reckless policies now.

SSI is not a “Ponzi scheme,” Elon Musk. The real scam is billionaires milking government subsidies while attacking social safety nets.

This is a calculated effort to weaken SSA so corporate interests can push privatization. We see it. We won’t stand for it.

I’ve paid into Social Security for 40 years and counting. I’m 57 now, and I’ll be damned if I’m denied my benefits or forced to jump through hoops to prove I’m entitled to what I’ve earned.

Now, if Elon wants to cut me a check to cover my estimated benefits—with interest—multiplied by the millions he’s trying to disenfranchise, that’s another discussion. But with Tesla tanking, I doubt he’s in a position to make that deal.

One thing’s for sure: he, Lutnick, and their cronies can FAFO what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a class action suit filed by We, the People.

Do you really think Elon is taking your SS benefits ? If you are entitled to receive SS then it is a done deal. However, because of all the fraud committed, that he and his team have found,,,,, this insured your SOCIAL SECURITY will be there when you apply. STOP LISTENING TO THE NEWS!

Complete psychos! First you lie to the American people saying Social Security & Medicare will not be touched, now you’re threatening to shut it down because you don’t get your way, sound like a spoiled baby to me. All I know is it’s not going to look good for this administration if they decide to do this, we need a million man/woman march on Washington including all nationalities! Are we just going to sit idly by and watch these criminals steal from us? Protest outside these dirty politicians’ homes!

Leland Dudek, Acting Commissioner of Social Security Administration, recently stated that he refuses to do his job and intends on ILLEGALLY shutting down the agency that taxpayers and their employers have contributed to all of their working lives due to a judge’s ruling that he didn’t like. As it is, Dudek’s decisions clearly indicate that he doesn’t know how government works or how the Social Security Administration functions because all he is …..is a “Tech Bro”…. who happened to have gotten fired because he violated agency rules but then enter the Fanta Fascist – Trump —– If you are a law breaker, like Dudek, you can be nominated to a position of higher power with your Qualifications = ZERO. DOGE’s behavior has been illegal and unconstitutional…….Dudek has also helped DOGE execute illegal and unconstitutional behavior. I am sick of constantly hearing about the Den of Thieves constantly fucking everything up.

Maybe we need an insurrection of the people kicking out the rich, have a new election and put Trump and Elon in jail. Everything they are doing is illegal. They are dismantling our government on purpose. The people have reached a boiling point. What are you going to do when we ERUPT! Stop screwing the people out of THEIR Medicare and social security. It is NOT an entitlement. It’s money we paid in for the government to keep safe and invest so the people can retire! Most people have only social security to live on. If they close the social security office and Medicare, then the people should get EVERY DIME WE PAID IN plus interest. You think the government can afford that?! That’s 60 years of working for me. I’ve never seen a group of pathetic, psycho, Nazis, intent on hurting our country and the people. It’s sickening!

I just read an article about a ridiculous statement about shutting down the SS agency due to a Judges order about DOGE. If the DOGE affiliates are running SSA now, I would suggest that the Agency immediately hire back the staff they let go to replace them in order to comply with the order and also keep the Agency open. Keep in mind that each household has approx. 2 children. That will be 35-70 million of the recipients children coming to Washington to see what the problem is. And they won’t be in their walkers.

I am 75 years old (soon to be 76) and my sole income is Social Security. I live in HUD subsidized housing. Any interruption in my benefit payment would literally result in homelessness. I’m scared, plain and simple.

Since you are complaining so much about the president and Elon , Can I have your money when it comes?I don’t think you deserve it .I do think you will run to the bank to spend it ..maybe they will see your nasty comments and you won’t receive one. Then you will have a reason to be so negative.

What a nasty person you are! People are scared to death about losing their only source of income (a source of income that they pre-paid for,I might add) and you are denigrating them. I hope that you never feel the loss of hope that so many Americans are. If you don’t, you are a very lucky (and nasty) person.

Everyone receiving Social Security “deserves” it, because they paid into it for their entire working lives. And what people do with their money is none of your business.
Who are you to pass judgement?

Why would a person not deserve what they paid for Sissie!!!
I paid into social security for 39 years, and I damn well deserve social security!!!

No you cannot have it. All we hear is “free speech” “First Amendment rights” when the magas are whining about their victimizations-de-jour, so if anyone has issue with someone complaining about the SSA and the current chaotic state our government is currently in? Too bad, so sad. These folks have a literal RIGHT to “complain” in this country-at least for right now-and if you find offense? YOU have the RIGHT to ‘change the channel’ so-to-speak.

I have a suggestion. The social security fund is not static. Money is constantly flowing in and out of SS.
Has anyone ever considered that the amount of SS being deducted from the now working people who are paying in might need to be raised in order to protect their future SS payments.
The cost of living continues to rise. The number of working people in the US who pay into SS continues to decline. I would think the only way to overcome the current difficulties would be to consider raising SS fees for those who have not yet retired.

I tried several times recently with long un-answered telephone calls to get information about my SS. I still have the same questions and uncertainty.

We are being led to believe there is a $500 billion in waste, fraud, or abuse in the SS system. Where does this grossly high figure come from? From a person with an agenda?
Is it from actuaries who work for the SSA? Don’t believe everything you see on the web!

I would like to know specifics on this and how it was decided to terminate jobs of 7,000 employees, many of whom could be providing essential ‘back office’ work. Why not 6,800 or 7,200 according to a real study of actual needs?

Finally, it has become a practice for high-level federal government officials to say they are acting due to the president’s ‘mandate.’ I would point out that a duly-elected office holder has the same power and authority regardless of vote totals. Isn’t this obvious?

I’m getting worried now, with all these new changes. I’m 72 years old and depend on my direct deposit S.S.A check. Will my check be deposited next month? I have a mortgage to pay and bills to pay. I can barely make ends meet now. On top of this, I bad a bad fall and can’t walk or stand. There is no way I can go physically to a S.S.A office, which is more than 30 miles away. As a disabled woman living alone, there is no way I can get there. I have been on disability until 65, after that I guess you’re not considered disabled anymore. I used to be eligible for Medicaid, but with the 2.5% COLA I went over the “limit” just barely. Now I have to pay Medicare premiums every month $185. Now I get less than I did while on Medicaid. This is a big struggle for me. I have a savings account that I have to use now to pay for some bills and taxes. It was supposed to pay for repairs on my home. Now I have to use it for groceries and co-pays on my medical expenses. While I agree that there is fraud, but most people are not fraudulent. But now we all have to suffer the consequences, because of a few dishonest people.
