I was very upset to hear that not only are offices closing and also Phone lines are being taken out of the process BUT that we may miss payments. Then Mr. Dudek said that normal legitimate users would never call to complain and that those who do are most likely fraudsters. This is a ridiculous statement. If they didn’t send your paycheck to your account – YOU’D CALL. If they charged you double at the car dealer YOU’D CALL. If they didn’t pay a dividend on your stock or a distribution on your 401 YOU’D CALL.. OF COURSE REAL LEGITIMATE AMERICANS WILL CALL – EXCEPT WITHOUT PHONE LINES – THEY’LL Have to drive long distances or use the internet which many don’t have access to.

Dear Commissioner Dudek,
I have a suggestion to help fund Social Security.
Currently, the social security tax on someone’s income stops at around $170,000. My suggestion is to raise the threshold for taxing to $200,000 – $250,000. This would definitely help fund SS.

Mr. Dudek commented that his mother or mother in law would not complain if she/they did not get their ssa check, he does not have a grip on reality. Their are many many people that need their checks every month to survive. This billionaire needs to stop being so aloof and try to under stand that there are ordinary retiree’s that use these checks to pay their rent, food and their monthly bills. This was a poor choice to head social security. Nice job Mr. Trump!

Stop Undermining Social Security – Reopen Offices, Restore Staff!
Closing SSA offices, slashing staff, and forcing elderly and disabled Americans to appear in person—while shutting down locations—is blatant sabotage. This agency exists to serve, not obstruct. Reverse these reckless policies now.
SSI is not a “Ponzi scheme,” Elon Musk. The real scam is billionaires milking government subsidies while attacking social safety nets.
This is a calculated effort to weaken SSA so corporate interests can push privatization. We see it. We won’t stand for it.

I’ve paid into Social Security for 40 years and counting. I’m 57 now, and I’ll be damned if I’m denied my benefits or forced to jump through hoops to prove I’m entitled to what I’ve earned.
Now, if Elon wants to cut me a check to cover my estimated benefits—with interest—multiplied by the millions he’s trying to disenfranchise, that’s another discussion. But with Tesla tanking, I doubt he’s in a position to make that deal.
One thing’s for sure: he, Lutnick, and their cronies can FAFO what it feels like to be on the wrong end of a class action suit filed by We, the People.

First you lie to the American people saying Social Security & Medicare will not be touched, now you’re threatening to shut it down because you don’t get your way, sound like a spoiled baby to me. Leland Dudek, Acting Commissioner of Social Security Administration, recently stated that he refuses to do his job and intends on ILLEGALLY shutting down the agency that taxpayers and their employers have contributed to all of their working lives due to a judge’s ruling that he didn’t like. As it is, Dudek’s decisions clearly indicate that he doesn’t know how government works or how the Social Security Administration functions because all he is …..is a “Tech Bro”…. who happened to have gotten fired because he violated agency rules but then enter the Fanta Fascist – Trump —– If you are a law breaker, like Dudek, you can be nominated to a position of higher power with your Qualifications = ZERO. DOGE’s behavior has been illegal and unconstitutional…….Dudek has also helped DOGE execute illegal and unconstitutional behavior. I am sick of constantly hearing about the Den of Thieves constantly fucking everything up.

Maybe we need an insurrection of the people kicking out the rich, have a new election and put Trump and Elon in jail. Everything they are doing is illegal. I just read an article about a ridiculous statement about shutting down the SS agency due to a Judges order about DOGE. If the DOGE affiliates are running SSA now, I would suggest that the Agency immediately hire back the staff they let go to replace them in order to comply with the order and also keep the Agency open. Keep in mind that each household has approx. 2 children. That will be 35-70 million of the recipients children coming to Washington to see what the problem is. And they won’t be in their walkers.

I am 75 years old (soon to be 76) and my sole income is Social Security. I live in HUD subsidized housing. Any interruption in my benefit payment would literally result in homelessness. I’m scared, plain and simple.

All we hear is “free speech” “First Amendment rights” when the magas are whining about their victimizations-de-jour, so if anyone has issue with someone complaining about the SSA and the current chaotic state our government is currently in? Too bad, so sad. These folks have a literal RIGHT to “complain” in this country-at least for right now-and if you find offense? YOU have the RIGHT to ‘change the channel’ so-to-speak.
