Trump has great ideas but has implemented them with no clarification the average American understands. He has setup a dictatorship and I am sorry as hell I voted for him.Robert Ralyea

Don’t beat yourself up too much. Everyone makes mistakes, but the good news is that you recognize yours. Now you can join the “other side” and rebuild our democracy before it’s too late. Good to meet you. 🙂

I do not feel comfortable with non appointed individuals running through my personal information read or not. Please stop this intrusion into this most valuable program for all Americans. If Trump wants to help SSA then get Congress to raise the max age for contributing to SSA which will make this program solvent for the foreseeable future. The IG was dealing with any fraud minimal as it was and need not have been fired.

It’s Trump’s strategy, kind of like the Nazis’ blitzkrieg in WW II; attack and dismantle our democracy before any anyone notices.

Good, we need a competent, capable, interested director to be sure us seniors get the best care and the lowest costs. You need to do a lot of work on prescription costs.

This administration ain’t it.

With our current administration in the White House along with Elon Musk and his groupies, I fear for us all. Someone with authority needs to step up and PROTECT our SS rights and benefits.

I do NOT like DOGE or any other person having access to my SS information! DO you not realized how many scammers have older adults information?? It is awful trying to keep our data safe from scammers and AI. This may be a very big mistake!
Joseph S.
DODGE should not have any access to my SS information until each one has top level security clearance. You also didn’t mention that they can’t down load data with their read access.
Robert M.
Thank you for your introduction.
I am NOT convinced that DOGE will honor the rules, regulations, and laws concerining data within the SSA.
It would be reassuring to specify what procedures are in place to *ensure* that DOGE does not capture, copy, and walk out of SSA buildings and systems with copies of personal information.
Thank you.

Does the administration reveiw disability claims annually? I understand It appears there are many people in there late 50’s capable of working and getting disability checks at the expense of the taxpayer while they are receiving incomes not reported.

I don’t think anybody wants to be on Social Security disability and if they are that means they went through hell to get there and they paid in it just like you have that’s what it’s there for so I think you’ve got the SSDI program mixed up with the SSI program

“DOGE personnel must follow the law and if they violate the law they will be referred to the Department of Justice for possible prosecution.”
But as Trump said, “He who saves his Country does not violate any Law.”
What the difference? Trump has shown that he can pardon anyone that he wants.

……..including himself. tRump and his cronies are systematically disassembling our democracy, along with his not elected or vetted “co-president” Musk, and blaming it on the nonexistent “far left dark state.” Until 2016 we were called Democrats, the other of our two party system.

Thanks for the update by the new acting head. It is good to cooperate with people that are trying to make the system better with less fraud or abuse of the system. We all want to make the system better, or at least that should be our goal.
