Social Security Administration LogoI’m excited that, starting in early April, we will add more in-person appointments and offer in-person service for people without an appointment.

During the pandemic, millions of people used our secure and convenient online services, and received help by phone and in our offices by appointment. For people who can access our services online or by phone, we ask that they continue to do business with us online or by phone and schedule an appointment, when possible, which will better allow us to timely serve people who cannot use those options.

I invite you to visit our website to learn:

  • The best ways to get help from Social Security.
  • What you should know before you visit a Social Security office, so we can help you safely.
  • Innovative options that could help you have your hearing sooner if you are appealing a decision.

We are committed to helping as many people as possible as safely as possible.

With all these restrictions being lifted there is still uncertainty where you are free not to wear mask in public transport or in buildings.

Dental practices are fully reopening across the US and Canada, however, not all of them are ready to completely refrain from COVID-19 restrictions.

For example, Chroma Dental practice in North York, Toronto or Dentologem dentistry in Westfield, NJ stick to safety protocols that were established during the first wave of COVID-19.

This is awesome, to be able to read and reply to issues that very much affect our day to day survival tactics and how we can manage our future planning with the correct information provided in this blog.

SSN office 1800 numbers are a joke. We needed to get the updated SSN, and it requires us to send original documents of citizenship and other details to SSN office. We tried to call the 1800 number listed on the web site to get an appointment, tried for more than 6 months. They never lift the phone. NEVER! Horrible service! Each time we stayed on call for more than 2+ hours. Tired of same repeated automated message with absolutely no help. I see folks talking about quality issues on phone, there is no quality to begin with. You can sugar coat what you want, this is the reality.

The SSA should protect online readers from hypertext. The comments shouldn’t contain hypertext were scammer can steal personal information on your computer if you click it.

The phone system is all messed up probably due to bad security issues. The SSA spends millions on IT security which is garbage.

I praise all efforts of Federal Employees operating under Covid conditions. Especially SSA and the IRS. Alex T. has no idea.

I would like to make an appointment for my benefits. I turn 60 in July on the 14th . I was told to do so 6 months before my birthday. I’m receiving survivers benefits right now. Thanks, Debra Vanderhyde

It is about time your staff returns to the office. The service during Covidd was lacking quality. There is no substitute for a face to face conversation between employee and buyer. also read my blog

You do realize that the same people that answer the phone is the same people that you will see in the office. Same people same service.
