The IRS has extended its deadline to September 30, 2020 to provide information to the IRS using its IRS’ Non-Filer Tool if you:

  • Receive Social Security retirement, survivors, or disability benefits, or SSI payments.
  • Did not file a 2019 or 2018 tax return.
  • Have a qualifying child under age 17.
  • You did not already enter information in the IRS’ Non-Filer Tool for you and at least one child.

If you already entered information in the IRS’ Non-Filer Tool before and even after the IRS’ previously announced deadlines (April 22 if you receive Social Security; May 5 if you receive SSI), you do not need to do anything. The IRS will automatically make a payment in October based on the information you provided them.

Please read the IRS’ August 14 press release for more details.

Is not there an indication as to when we – the SSI recipients) are to expect our EIP payment?

  2. DAWNKIARA H.

What does that mean have to due with everything. Without.what? Disability stimulus economic development checking… long delivery date

At the announcement of EIP approval, we ( SSI recipient) were told that IRS will obtain our contact addresses from the Social Security Administration. It is almost 6 months and we are still waiting. Now, tell us Please, are we going to have our share, or is it over? It is painful to expect something you think it be real then turn to be simply a mirage.
    Thank you

    Good afternoon,
My name is Madeline Dunn. I am writing because My ex husband wrongfully claimed my 3 children on his taxes this year. ( Tyler Lloyd, Ryan Lloyd and Bry’Onna Lloyd).
I am in the process of court because of it. Due to my ex doing so, I did not receive the first stimulus payment for the children and I am worried that I will not receive it with the next stimulus payment. I have tried to contact the IRS but am unable to get through. Is there anyone I can speak to to resolve this matter?

We need not receive the $500 for our daughter. I have tried to complete the forms but it will not let me input the required information. How can I request my daughters portion of the stimulus package. My husband & I received ours. He is on disability but we do file taxes each year.
