Just put in for my benefits. I received a letter saying they need to talk to me. Gave me a name Carlos Arias with phone number 855-257-0067 ext 3075256. They gave me one day to respond. looks like a red flag is it?

Hi Joseph, thanks for checking in with us. Generally, we will only contact someone if they have requested a call or have ongoing business with us. If you recently filed for benefits, they may have some questions regarding the application. To see if Social Security did send that letter, you would need to call your local office. Please look for the general inquiry telephone number at the Social Security Office Locator. The number may appear under Show Additional Office Information. Please be aware that our call wait times are longer than normal. We hope this information helps.

I have received 3 or 4 calls today saying my ss will be suspended. The last call I got the girls name Jessica Rich,, her badge number 230251 ,this is probably not the correct name or number. The number she called from was 304-390-7739 She said my case ID TX 7010. So tired of getting these calls, it is everyday.

He asked to verify my name that he has on File I gave him my name First and last: Khaled Qawasmi, then he asked me to verify my date of Birth so I told I told him why do you want my information if you have it and how can I know he is not a fraud so he provided me with his information as follows:
His Name: Officer Chris Anderson Badge ID number: LO 141094 From Texas. He said that there is a case against me, Case ID: PC7010 and Warrant ID: 9896758. 8. Dino A.

I was scammed by a phone call which I believed was legitimate. I returned a call to 1-800-692-7753 because that number called me numerous times. I made a mistake and gave the so called account specialist. The call said someone from Mexico was trying to use my account for a purchase. When I realized I was being scammed I hung up it was too late. I really wanted to make sure my Social Security benefit check was okay and not messed up. have reported this to Experian, Equifax and Transunion. I will be filing a report with the local police.
