Why was the “Safe Paper use with “Random Benefit days created when Congress moved the date within a 7 day range and DOES NOT help those of us who “live” on SS benefits.
If you want to return this to an edge of sanity – you then need to contact all banks and other of those companies eligible to receive benefits for each change at the FED level. Your purpose was to save “paper” for Washington by routing out of “same day” print or transmission, you did it. But for those of who NEED a date that can be relied upon and the banks and companies are allowed to ignore those randomly decreed dates causes an increase of paper and calls and statements to continuously modify their budget dates.
So, accordingly, the 435 people who passed that “paper saving” legislation – have set a standard for saving enough to offset the amount of paper and time required to satisfied this law – 250 million people have to suffer through multiple calls and statements to avoid being late on their promised to honor a “pay date” established by the “money” organizations.
Stupidly, we bounce along ruled by people who get automantic pay raises – just like the poorer, like me – without ever needing to vote on whether they receive those “raises” unless they vote against it – but there is distinct and audacious difference between amounts given. And our benefits are not “entitlements”, we paid for them over a lifetime almost over at our death.
I’m already statistically dead – which means in reality that my death date is close enough to ponder how to handle the ending – where are you guys going to get your money after it’s all taken to reward those who honor that contract.
it’s also very odd that I’m – and others like me – continue to pay for our Medicare. So we try to collect what we paid – by regulation – and now have to return a “flat rate” $135.07 each benefit check we receive. There is no regulation, nor calculation on this amount, it is set regardless of how much benefit one receives. So, if you are one of the lucky ones drawing a benefit payment – once a month – of $1000 dollars (an income of $12000.00 per year) – you only receive 1.6% of that per month (that’s 1 dollar and six cents more a month on the new COLA – not $1000.00 per month but $1001.06. Bet that doesn’t give us just a bit more than $12.00 a YEAR increase in our benefits.
I bet the raise for Congress exceeds that for their “raise” that they haven’t decided to stop and the print shop of Congress (or benefit transmissions) to all the banks, etc. Is saving a great deal – in WASHINGTON – where they freely spend money belonging to all beneficiaries and future beneficiaries to use to travel about as needed. Wrong folks are getting the benefit they hardly pay anything into – max – $11450.00 – to pay medicare fee on , Then no more of that happens as long as they hold their government office.
And those in those offices seem surprised when they learn that the poor are going to say that way – because they are too stupid to go to Harvard or Yale or any university, and hold generous positions in industries, or governments “high” offices, or whatever to qualify for just being a lawyer and Congress person.
We joke about how dishonest those people are – so that we shake our heads in wonder – beg and lie through their many speeches – claiming great things have happened with their help. Just lies – nothing else.
Wake up our lose the jobs.
