Our New Customer Feedback Survey Helps Us Serve You Better

We encourage you to tell us how we’re doing by completing a brief survey on our Customer Feedback page. Your feedback is anonymous, doesn’t collect your personal information, and you can use it to rate your experience online, on the phone, and in your local Social Security office.

What is the Customer Feedback Survey?

It is a simple, brief survey to share your feedback with us using your computer, tablet, or smartphone. In addition to rating your experience, we welcome your ideas on how we can do better.

We will use your feedback to identify common, recurring issues and come up with solutions to improve our service. It is important we hear from you, so that we can get valuable insight to enhance your experience and serve you better.

      Hi Lydia, thank you for using our blog. We are sorry that you are having difficulty accessing your my Social Security online account. We have established a dedicated my Social Security Hotline. To reach this hotline, call 1-800-772-1213, and say “helpdesk” at the voice prompt. The help desk is available to callers between 8:00 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. (Eastern Time). You can also contact your local Social Security office directly. Look for the general inquiry telephone number using our Social Security Office Locator link. We hope this helps!

    Someone from Social Security called me regarding my recent application. It was a legitimate call, but how do you reallty know for sure?

      Hi Sh, thanks for checking in with us. Generally, we will only contact someone if they have requested a call or have ongoing business with us. To see if Social Security did make the call, you would need to call your local office. Please look for the general inquiry telephone number at the Social Security Office Locator. The number may appear under Show Additional Office Information. We hope this information helps.

    The Social Security offices, no matter which one, places you on hold for at least 2 hours, then someone comes on takes some information and then places you on hold again for another hour and then hangs up on you, I have tried getting in touch with them for months and every time is the same story, the customer service in place is rude and unresponding and know nothing about someonethat may have a severe disability and putting them on hold like that is barbaric to them. I have a friend with a severe mental disability that cannot read or write and they have done the same thing to him and he cannot get any help, I have tried helping him set up a social security account and the system wont let him, and calling there is such a disgrace to be put on hold for hours and then hung up on, what a disgraceful organization.

    I have tried 3 times this week and the website will not accept my password and will not allow to me to create a new account because I have an old account that can’t be accessed!!!
    Bring back paper statements?
    I would rate this site a failure.

I totally agree with this because customer feedback survey is very important to know customer demand and problems and improving the service quality. I am a regular user of this website, I think this is a best organization for all kinds ofg social security matters.     About this person called Rebekah, with all my respect, I t seems she is out of touch with family values and was not near some of those principles as someone who were taught to respect life and its meaning other than money, material or secular thinking. She really is an unhappy person because she equipped life like some robotic way of one behaving. Sorry, she needs counseling and a change of attitude.
