person using calculator On September 23, 2017, we released a new wage reporting application behind the my Social Security portal. Now, people who receive Social Security Disability Insurance (SSDI) benefits and their representative payees can report wages securely online.

It’s faster and easier than ever before for SSDI beneficiaries and their representative payees to report wages; they can avoid visiting a field office to report their wages in person and they can print or save a receipt of their report.

When you sign up or log in to your my Social Security account, you’ll have access to this application on your desktop, laptop, and mobile device. After you report your wages online, you can save or print a copy of your receipt.

This service will be available for Supplemental Security Income (SSI) recipients in the future. SSI recipients should continue to report wages through SSA Mobile Wage Reporting, SSI Telephone Wage Reporting, or by visiting a local field office.

We’re constantly expanding and improving our services to put you in control of your time by providing them when, where, and how you need them. You can learn more about this new wage reporting service here.

What happens when they don’t report their wages and violate the law? When will the SSA get tough with the violators? It seems that they can piss on the SSA and nothing happens.

    • Ray F.

Thank you for your comment, Tony. We have strict guidelines that apply to individuals receiving Social Security disability benefits. If you receive benefits from Social Security, you have a legal obligation to report any changes which could affect your eligibility, this include your work activity.

Trump wants to cut SS, Medicare, and Medicaid by 23 Trillion. IS THAT GOING TO HAPPEN. IF IT DOES WELFARE ROLLS WILL SKYROCKET.

    • Marc

But he’s cutting welfare, food stamps, housing assistance, heating assistance, and Medicaid, too. So where’s everybody supposed to turn for help?

What a great idea, This database will make it possible for Employment Networks to better follow up on SSI and SSDI recipients whom are Beneficiaries of the Ticket to Work program as now the Beneficiaries can upload their pay stubs for a more seamless transition of Wage Information to the Employment Network. In turn the Employment Network will have the ability to receive timely wage information to report to Maximus. The information will help the Employment Networks to keep in contact with the Ticket to Work Beneficiary and assist them through the Trial Work Level and into the Significant Gainful Activity stage.

    .Dear Ms.Williams:

Here you go. Remember MSA stands for Medicare Set-Aside.

If you with the annuity, the carrier (Segwick Claims) saves money, so it is willing to put more up forward in your hands

If you go with the annuity, then you would receive 45,522. The $15,000.00 attorneys’ fee (20% of the $75,000 total) would be deducted.

If you don’t, and Sedgwick has to fund the total amount of the MSA at once, you would receive only $24, 981.00 in your hands and then minus the attorneys’ fees.’

Your ESI and the follow-up appointment are authorized.

Question/Comment: Emergency federal respond Now to Final Determination letter awarded elevation to unfreeze and lyft to upgrading reasonable accommodation elevation certificate of AE zone and updated X zone reported on Isaac Williams Jr. & Trina D Williams 5013 Antioch St. Marrero, Louisiana 70072 Final federal determination letter respond Now on 07/11/2017

    Dear Mr. Williams, Jr,

On the 1995 effective map, your property is in Zone AE with a Base Flood Elevation of -3.5. An excerpt of the effective map showing your property is included below. The white area represents Zone X, and the gray area is Zone AE.
On the 2016 preliminary map, it appears FEMA has classified this area as an “X” zone, “Protected by Levee”. Since the FEMA map update process is not yet complete, you should not rely upon this statement as fact. You may wish to check back after FEMA issues a Letter of Final Determination to Jefferson Parish to confirm your new zone classification. Six months after we receive that letter is when the map becomes effective and used for insurance ratings. Until then, your flood insurance will continue to be rated off of the effective 1995 map. An excerpt of the preliminary map showing your property is included below. The white area represents Zone X, and the pink area is Zone AE.

Moving from Zone AE to Zone X means your flood risk is being considered reduced, not removed. Even though flood insurance will not be required once these maps become effective, Jefferson Parish recommends that you maintain flood insurance. Facts show individuals in Zone X areas file more than 20 percent of all NFIP flood insurance claims and receive one-third of Federal disaster assistance for flooding. On the effective date of the new maps, you may be eligible for a lower-cost Preferred Risk Policy (PRP). Talk to your flood insurance agent about your options.
Please let me know if you have any questions.

  9. Deena P.

I got a e-mail from ya about now I can report my wage’s on line
please give me a little more information about
    thank you,
    Deena C.

    • Ray F.

Hi Deena. Individuals receiving Social Security disability benefits may use my Social Security to report wages online. Using their own my Social Security account. Go to the my Social Security portal and see “What does a my Social Security account let me do?” Try it!

      • Mara P.

Wrong. You still have to sit on hold or in a field office all day to add an employer for which you want to report income.

You should not be representing this as a new online service, because it is NOT.

  10. Donald D.

I am disabled and already registered with Social Security to return to work. Although I will not be starting the job I had hoped to due to my health issues, how do I begin work if a new opportunity should arise.
