    Good morning:
I am a US citizen. I live in Lebanon since 7 years already and I don’t have a U.S. mailing address. Can the system be adjusted so that I can create a My Social Security Account despite not having a U.S. mailing address? I can provide the mailing address that I have here in Lebanon. Thank you so much.

When will Americans living abroad, like myself, be able to log in on line and do everything I could do in Social Security when I was living inside the CONUS? I just can’t understand, when my bank and my credit union allow me to do as I always did when living in the U.S.

I am looking for a positive, very positive reply. hehehe

I do not trust anything electronic these days as systems are hacked almost every day. If I have a ssa, and your system is hacked and I loose money as a result will you make good any losses I suffer? I think not, as even banks will not cover any loss I suffer as a result of there system being hacked. Hello!!!!!

If someone applied for Social Security Disability and after trying 4 times to receive the benefit, then has partial SSDI and SSI combined for a monthly payment and then a year later started working and did until they could not work at all because of acquiring lung cancer is this legal? The beneficiary drew benefits for over 15 years but also worked every night including weekends as a bar manager selling liquor or a bar maid but was paid under the table so there would not be any record or earnings. They still kept receiving the SSI/SSDI each month. They died 4 years ago.

Having a address at the Retired Activities Office (PSC517) FPO AP 96517 is not considered a valid US address.

I’m currently a SS beneficiary since the year of 1999. I’m over 65 years old and will have two adopted children ( age of 9 & 10) soon. Are they entitled to get SS benefits on my records?

I am retired and drawing social security. I also live overseas at this time. It would be a great value to personnel such as myself to be able to creat an account but at this time it is not possible since I don’t have a valid u.s. mailing address. Is there a future change in the system to allow this to be accomplished? Thanks kindlly.

    • Snarky

      Yes.
