A Social Security 1099 is a tax form Social Security mails each year in January to people who receive Social Security benefits. It shows the total amount of benefits you received from Social Security in the previous year so you know how much Social Security income to report to the IRS on your tax return.

A replacement SSA-1099 or SSA-1042S is available for the previous tax year after February 1.

Since last June/2020, I am calling SS to send me a copy of my 1099/2019. I spoke with someone from your office , he said he go send me in 2 weeks my copy, this was 45 days ago, and so far I did not receive nothing. I called SS 3 or 4 times spoke with a damn machine, that too said i go receive my copy em 2 weeks, and so far, nothing. What is going on with our SS offices? Is not more Covid problem, is like laziness, or incompetency? WITH WHO I HAVE TO TALK TO FOR A SIMPLE COPY OF MY 1099???
