In my business, it is important how well you manage to retain the customers. Because to attract new ones is much more expensive than to sell to the existing ones. My business partner recommended using Solidgate for payments, as this system is transparent and offers many payment options for the customer. So now the only reason for them to leave will be if they originally didn’t mean to buy my product.

Dear Mr. Bisignano
I am a Disabled Veteran, having said the I want to appeal to you to consider SSI for those who actually do need SSI. Abigail L Reese. Has been applying for SSI because of the damage done tot her at work. she is having physical issues and the place she worked required her to get the shots which destroyed her immune system. Now she can not work. she has a nursing degree but she can use it because her immune system is gone. she spend a lot of time in her house and has to be careful around her kids and grand kids.. Now I know there are a lot of scams in this organization However Ms. Abigail has a legit reason reason to be drawing SSI. she has worked all her life and for 16 years in the nursing job. Ms. Reese has never asked for a handout. raised two kids and now her husband , who is damaged and has cancer, is trying to work. Ms. Reese has applied and appealed and appealed and sent and sent documents, she has Doctors and doctors letters and still the SSI has slow walked her claim and used some excuse to deny, deny, deny. I find it strange that I can see people on social security in their 20s that can work. and yet someone who is soo damaged has to be on food stamps and a husband with cancer and can not get the on thing she has paid into all her working life.. Ms. Abigail Reese of Florala Alabama. NEEDS your attention

68 million people receive some form of Social Security; 54 million are seniors. My question is…why does SSA consider seniors as computer experts in order to gain simple access to their files?
It is barely feasible for an elderly person to handle a username and password just to get into their files but many can do it. Now, things have changed. When you first attempt to get into SSA, you now need a login.gov account. To so this, SSA then requires you to include photos of yourself and the back and front of your driver’s license…thereby eliminating those seniors who have given up driving.
Attaining these photos is not a simple download … Oh no… that would be too easy. SSA sends a link to your smart phone… oops…. got to have a smart phone….. then this program is supposed to allow you to take a picture through the SSA website. Not an easy maneuver. I tried for days with my android phone but the camera would not work. My friend , who has an iphone also tried but he was unable to do it either. This procedure requires many other steps just to get the phone to cooperate. I have been a programmer for 30 years but was unable to get my phone to take the photo through SSA. I had to make an appointment at a SSA location…for many seniors this means finding a ride, then wait at least a 1 week or more to get an appointment. My SSA agent spent quite awhile trying to take the required photos…I assumed he was a computer wizard in his 20’s yet still he did struggle a little but finally succeeded in taking the pictures… you expect seniors to be able to do it? …..no way.
It is good programming practices that every finished program should be tested by an uninformed user preferably in the appropriate age bracket. I do not see how a typical senior could have passed the user testing.
SSA, you need to “dumb” it down as about 75% of your recipients are not computer experts ! These are people who worked all their life , went to war and now are trying to enjoy those final years… give these guys a break.

They have a lot of work to do to make it a premier organization.
As an advocate. I help people when they file. Had an employee say it was time for her to go home and someone will call back to finish application. This was after they called the claimant 45 minutes late for appointment. That is ridiculous.
They also refused to read the remarks we requested to be on application but wanted the claimant to attest to the truthfulness of the application.
They need to treat claimant’s with more respect.

I fear that new Commissioner Bisignano will not preserve SS so that Americans can access their rightful benefits
Please do not whittle the system down and privatize it so it no longer works!!
Millions of people rely on their benefits to which we contributed and don’t have anything else!
Ronald W.
Is he going to start drawing Social Security? And still get a outrageous salary?
Fred H.
I sincerely hope that our new Commissioner is successful, and his leadership enhances service to the public AND fiscal responsibility.
I am an SSA retiree with 44 years of service, and my mother preceded me with 15 years of service to SSA and our nation.

Bisignano has zero human services experience. He’s a notorious billionaire bank grifter who specialized in privatization.

That what they’re trying to do-privatize anything & everything they can. Looking to make money on US or cutting programs. How frickin much money do you need!!

Finally someone to take control of SS
me
I agree. They had a lot of people supposedly “Working from Home” doing nothing for a long time. When I went to apply for my retirement in person in 2023, I waited a bit, only to be told by the representative I finally got to see that he had to make an appointment for someone to call me and take my application on the phone. They weren’t even taking applications in person. That then requried TWO positions to do ONE task, which made me wait two months for the phone call from the person “Working form Home”. My friend had the same experience. They could have done it right there in the field office. That was NOT efficient. I’m glad this SSA being taken over. It needs to be more efficient. They need to be in that office. Welcome, Frank!
